Chevrolet Impala Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (2004) | This is obviously a PARODY. It's not supposed to be super-realistic to the real thing. So keep it as a 1965 Chevrolet Impala.
Ford GT40 Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (2004) | This is obviously a Ford GT, but since the game is set in 1992, this is a Ford GT40. Strange, considering 60's nostalgia wasn't that big in the 90's.
Oldsmobile 442 Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (2004) | It's a 1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass crossed with a 1969 Ford Mustang Notchback or Convertible. Body seems to be bulky like a Mustang whilst the front, rear, and hood are Oldsmobile Cutlass inspired. -- Last edit: 2016-09-12 21:38:22
Dodge Polara Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (2004) | LANDSTALKERisntaJEEP wrote Looks like a 57 Packard Clipper to me. Nope, it's a 1961 Dodge Polara sedan. I don't see any Packard inspired elements on this car. -- Last edit: 2016-09-12 20:57:45
Oldsmobile 442 Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (2004) | Yah the name and body style are obviously spoofing the Mustang.

Ford Thunderbird Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (2004) | No doubt a Ford Thunderbird.
Ford Ranger Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (2004) | I don't get how anyone could NOT see this as a Ford Ranger. This is one of the car models in the game that's literally just a carbon copy of its real life counterpart. carphotos.cardomain.com/ride_images/4/606/1869/39013434001_original.jpg
Jeep Wagoneer Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (2004) | I don't get how anyone can see this as a Jeep. Jeep Wagoneer's have taller heights and shorter lengths. The Landstalker, on the other hand, is shorter in height and longer in length, and also has a longer hood length. It is very obviously a reference to the early 90's Blazer/Jimmy/Explorer/Pathfinder style midsized SUV's. Just because Jeeps had wood panelling doesn't automatically make this a Jeep. Hell, if the wood panel is what's convincing everyone of this being a Jeep, here's a photo of a GMC Jimmy with wood paneling. hanabi.autoweek.com/sites/default/files/styles/gen-738-415/public/5973197632_e826c8565c_o.jpg?itok=j6RRgmzM For further proof of this not being a Jeep, the Landstalker in all other GTA games has been identified as a Ford Explorer, Ford Expedition, and a GMC Jimmy. Why would it be a Ford/GM in all other games but a Jeep in this one? What sense does that make? Seriously, compare this Landstalker to the body lengths of the vehicles in those photos, and then see the Jeep Wagoneer this car is being labeled as. image.trucktrend.com/f/28557719+re0+ar0+st0/1991-ford-explorer-front-three-quarter.jpg upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/a/a2/1st_Chevrolet_S-10_Blazer_4-door.jpg only-carz.com/data_images/gallery/02/nissan-pathfinder-v6-se/nissan-pathfinder-v6-se-05.jpg consumerguide.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/94126111990409.jpg Jeep Wagoneer: static.cargurus.com/images/site/2008/07/24/20/00/1984_jeep_grand_wagoneer-pic-27457.jpeg -- Last edit: 2016-09-12 08:02:43
Mercury Sable Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (2004) | I originally thought it was some sort of Oldsmobile, maybe a '88 Cutlass Ciera (carphotos.cardomain.com/ride_images/4/1013/4461/40032230448_original.jpg), but now I am positive it's an early Camry.

Euclid R50 Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (2004) | nor Jackie Chan, he drove an Euclid in one film.
Lincoln Continental Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (2004) | I agree that it looks pretty similar to a 1970s Lincoln Continental for the most part. However, those are some rather large bumpers for 1971. This style of bumper, with black rubber strips no less, makes this hearse look like a post-1973 automobile. Yes, these bumpers were introduced in 1973, but it wasn't until 1974 that it was required to have both front and rear bumpers of this kind. Click the link below for details. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bumper_(car)#United_States The grille shows that it can't be any newer than 1976, as the '77 through '79 models had upright Rolls-Royce inspired grilles which were used on the Mark series Continentals. I'd say it's a 1974 - 1976. 1974 www.dyna.co.za/cars/1974%20Lincoln%20Continental%20Blue%20sf021.jpg 1975 / 1976 www.automobile-catalog.com/img/pictonorzw/lincoln/76cont.jpg -- Last edit: 2016-07-09 04:20:28

Chevrolet Camaro Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (2004) | Automotive Gaming wrote I do not agree. Wheelarches size are the same as the Camaro ones, since the Daytona ones are smaller. Also, if you notice, the wheelarches "lips" are more similar in terms of size to the Camaro ones than the Daytona ones (Daytona ones are less pronounced). Mirrors are mounted on doors for both Camaro and Buffalo, while the Daytona ones are mounted aside the window. Daytona has a scoop on the front bumper between the headlights which the Buffalo and the Camaro don't have. The Daytona front bumper lip is way smaller than the Buffalo and Camaro ones, also the front bumper lip cut (where the lip is mounted/starts) is exactly placed in the same point for both Buffalo and Camaro. The front bumper overall design is same as the Camaro. Buffalo side window design is the same as the Camaro. The Camaro just doesn't have the rear side triangle window because of the bigger trunk window. The side door design is same as the Camaro. The trunk wing, same as Camaro. www.sitedogta.com.br/imagens/veiculos/originais/buffalo%203.jpg www.iroc-z.com/1986pics/1986gallery/Jeffs%20Iroc%20Front%20Index%20Pic.JPG i.imgur.com/axMfEHj.jpg Remember that you can't have an exactly replica of a real car in a GTA game (or any other game with fake cars), so the developers must use their fantasy to add random details here and there to confuse who sees the car, maybe also borrowing those details from a whole different vehicle (GTA4/5 Infernus = half Lambo, half Zonda.) Luckily, the GTA SA Buffalo is way more clear to identify. Small OT: I agree with you about the Super GT "bump", because it is indeed an SW20 rather than an AW11. You have a point, the RWD and the V8 are convincing enough. I still think that the car is a mixture between the Camaro and Daytona with Manta 400 headlights but this will do.
Chevrolet Camaro Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (2004) | Oh boy. I hope this doesn't turn into an argument similar to the Stratum.... ![]()
Chevrolet Camaro Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (2004) | Lore or not it still borrows the majority of its visual features from a Dodge Daytona. I'm basing this on the rear since the front is based off multiple cars that are anachronistic to the game. -- Last edit: 2016-01-03 00:07:40
Chevrolet Camaro Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (2004) | Delete my posts all you want, it doesn't change the fact that this is A Dodge Daytona. Look at the pillars and the taillights. Plus, the Buffalo is canonically a Dodge in other GTA games.
Mitsubishi 3000 GT Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (2004) | I don't want to open this can of worms again, but it's a 1991 model, not a 1986 model. -- Last edit: 2016-01-02 20:40:25

Mitsubishi 3000 GT Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (2004) | Yeah, in my opinion it's one of the greatest automotive mysteries. Its sale page was taken down minutes after it was posted and the MC8 has disappeared again. Mitsubishi 3000 GT Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (2004) | Those pics are for a one-off street version of an MR2 that SARD entered in the 24 Hours of Le Mans one year. People thought it was crushed around 1995 but it showed up at a private collection. No idea how it survived. ![]()
Mitsubishi 3000 GT Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (2004) | So that tells me that SARD is basically a racing team, entering this car at Le Mans. I've heard of SARD, but only because of the Denso SARD Supra in Gran Turismo.
Mitsubishi 3000 GT Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (2004) | Looking back it's not really an MC8, but more of a W20. It's the homoglation model for a widebody MR2 Toyota entered in Le Mans, only one was produced and most thought it was crushed twenty years ago until it showed up in a private collection earlier this year. One of the few feel-good automotive stories this year. -- Last edit: 2015-12-14 03:03:43
