The Monterey was indeed introduced in 1949, so there's an error in the wikipedia article. Now that I've seen several images of the 1949 Monterey, I'm convinced that this "Hermes" is one. Quite a nice car, actually, and the game developers have given it double taillights, which I think is an improvement.
