If I had to pick one model year for this car, it'd be 1966. From what I can tell, this car's front end styling resembles that of the 1966 - 1968 Continentals closer than any other model. Additionally, 1966 was the first year this generation of the Continental was available as a two-door coupe (although no convertible version of the two-door was ever produced as far as I'm aware).

On another note, the front turn signals, flared wheel arches and pretty much the whole rear end of this car appear to have been derived from the Continental Mark III.

I don't believe that it is a Packard.

Packards of this era had the spare tires mounted in the fender.

Why specifically 2000? They all looked the same between 1998 and 2002, didn't they?

Well... Only the line in the door is a style element from 64-66 Mustang's... The rest of the car... isn't... Look at that grille! looks more to a modiefied Taunus to me than a Mustang....

Somewhat...the later Packards have a narrower grille which looks more like the car in the game, but they also have extra grilles on the lower part of the fenders. Either way, it isn't an Auburn.

Doesn't look much like an Auburn to me. The upright grille is more like a late 30's Cadillac LeSalle or perhaps a '40 Packard.
