Volkswagen Golf GTI Gran Turismo 2 (1999) | All of those Golfs in-game are 1997 models.
Subaru SVX Gran Turismo 2 (1999) | BrianMak a écrit I wonder why the SVX don't return to newer GTs.... Because GT doesn't care about obscure JDM cars anymore.
Subaru SVX Gran Turismo 2 (1999) | I wonder why the SVX don't return to newer GTs....
Plymouth Road Runner Superbird Gran Turismo 2 (1999) | Because the Road Runner name is from a Warner Bros. character.
Fiat 500 Gran Turismo 2 (1999) | Italy's older twin of the Mini, and is less slower than the Mini.
Suzuki Cappuccino Gran Turismo 2 (1999) | A spelling error. Sony had to rush the game for a December 1999/January 2000 deadline.
Mitsubishi 3000 GT Gran Turismo 2 (1999) | the game says it's a '96.
Audi S4 Gran Turismo 2 (1999) | It's funny this car is cheaper than the A4 ![]()
Ford Puma Gran Turismo 2 (1999) | Well, my words: Basing a supermini into a coupe is like a recipe for disaster, but this 167 bhp coupe can hardly push it.
Fiat Barchetta Gran Turismo 2 (1999) | 1995 as shown here.
Honda S2000 GT1 Gran Turismo 2 (1999) | Amuse would revive the S2K GT1 name 2 games later.
Toyota Supra Gran Turismo 2 (1999) | On this game, the '97 Supra RZ is pictured in yellow (as shown above) alongside its 6 other colors you can choose from (Super White II, Silver Metallic, Grayish Green Mica Metallic, Black, Super Red IV, & Blue Mica). This would also be carried over to GT3 (w/ a green colored Supra you can win as a prize car). However, the Super Bright Yellow Supra would only last for said 2 GT's, as GT4 onwards would have the car's color count reverted to the 6 aforementioned colors. The same fact would be said for the '97 Supra SZ-R.
RUF CTR2 Gran Turismo 2 (1999) | The first production car to get a podium finish on Pikes Peak... that fact alone makes me want to put dirt tires on this thing and take it on to this game's recreation of Pikes Peak (it's not 100% perfect, alright?)
Fiat Coupé Gran Turismo 2 (1999) | Put some anti-aliasing
Honda Integra Type R Gran Turismo 2 (1999) | Japan and Europe only.
Suzuki Cultus Pikes Peak Gran Turismo 2 (1999) | The unsung hero of Pikes Peak.
Toyota Starlet Gran Turismo 2 (1999) | The game's most misleading car.
Chevrolet Corvette Gran Turismo 2 (1999) | Who accepted that rear screenshot? Looks absolutely horrendous. -- Last edit: 2016-11-13 03:59:51
Fiat Coupé Gran Turismo 2 (1999) | Burn Rubber a écrit Emulator problems m8. ![]() But yeah, GT2 on ePSXe for some reason has lowered render distance on vehicles. I own the game IRL and it isn't that bad. There's something obviously wrong with your setup. You definitely need to change your settings on the emulator for one thing.
Honda Integra Type R Gran Turismo 2 (1999) | Not available in the US version.
Daihatsu Sirion Gran Turismo 2 (1999) | Called the Daihatsu Storia in the JP & US version.

Suzuki Escudo Pikes Peak Gran Turismo 2 (1999) | Cheater car.
Fiat Coupé Gran Turismo 2 (1999) | That Integra though... ![]()
Honda Civic Ferio Gran Turismo 2 (1999) | M@xtimot a écrit Turns out to be that car, and the wrong car seems to be acutally pictured (has a colour I can't find in the colour list). Screenshot here and here. Seems relevant to quote this here
Ford Puma Gran Turismo 2 (1999) | ![]()
Honda Civic Gran Turismo 2 (1999) | Desscythe17 a écrit A picture would be nice. I'm not sure what Gran Turismo 2 is like with regional versions, but I guess for a non-Japanese region the car could be listed as Honda Civic instead of Honda Civic Ferio. Turns out to be that car, and the wrong car seems to be acutally pictured (has a colour I can't find in the colour list). Screenshot here and here. -- Last edit: 2016-07-17 23:23:27
Honda Civic Gran Turismo 2 (1999) | Burn Rubber a écrit Are you sure the game is correct? Sometimes GT lists the years wrong on cars Not 100% sure tho, need research for this one and probably an explanation. The date error confused me for a while since it's cars only available on the RNGed used car list.
Honda Civic Gran Turismo 2 (1999) | This game states this car is from 1995 so I'm changing the year.
Honda Civic Ferio Gran Turismo 2 (1999) | M@xtimot a écrit My missing car would be this one but I can't find that tone of red colour in the new cars. 2 problemes sur tes photos, déjà elles sont du menu ce qui détonnent à celles que j'avais mis ingame et puis elles sont déformées, les roues sont ovales et les voitures écrasées
Honda Civic Ferio Gran Turismo 2 (1999) | My missing car would be this one but I can't find that tone of red colour in the new cars.
Honda Civic Gran Turismo 2 (1999) | M@xtimot a écrit Ok so I have a sedan version of that car (not classed as a Ferio, only Civic VTi) that doesn't seem to be listed here, should I take a picture or something? A picture would be nice. I'm not sure what Gran Turismo 2 is like with regional versions, but I guess for a non-Japanese region the car could be listed as Honda Civic instead of Honda Civic Ferio. -- Last edit: 2016-07-17 21:41:25

Dodge Challenger Gran Turismo 2 (1999) | Do you ever look at a colour name and think that's the best colour name you ever freaking witnessed?
Daihatsu Move Gran Turismo 2 (1999) | Yeah I just noticed when I resetted for used cars.
Daihatsu Move Gran Turismo 2 (1999) | M@xtimot a écrit Same car??? The other one is 4WD and Gran Turismo lists them as different cars. There are more 2WD/4WD cars in the game.
Daihatsu Move Gran Turismo 2 (1999) | Same car??? edit: nevermind, it's only a difference of driving wheel. -- Last edit: 2016-07-17 02:22:20
Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport Gran Turismo 2 (1999) | I have a racing version of that car, but I can't remember if I added it or won it like that. Should I take a picture of this one?
Ford Mondeo Gran Turismo 2 (1999) | If you perform Racing Modifications on a stock Mondeo, it would look like the one driven by the late Will Hoy (the #32 car; w/ it, he would achieve 10th place overall in the '98 BTCC season).
Citroën Traction Avant Gran Turismo 2 (1999) | Probably the oldest car seen on GT2.
Rover Mini Cooper Gran Turismo 2 (1999) | 1998/99 model.
Plymouth Road Runner Superbird Gran Turismo 2 (1999) | Known as a Plymouth "Muscle Car" Superbird in-game.
Ford RS200 Gran Turismo 2 (1999) | This game featured the regular Ford RS200, but it was referred to as the Ford RS200 Rally Car. However, on its next appearance on GT4, the Ford RS200 Rally Car name was given to its rally car variant, & the stock version was simply the RS200. -- Last edit: 2016-05-18 19:23:03
Renault Mégane Coupé Gran Turismo 2 (1999) | If racing modifications are performed on a stock Renault Megane on GT2, it will be turned into the Renault Megane Rally Car. The Megane Rally itself was available for use in the game's Arcade mode. -- Last edit: 2016-07-10 04:29:35
Honda S2000 Gran Turismo 2 (1999) | One of this S2K's racing liveries (this car has 2 racing liveries) would resemble the Spoon S2K Race Car (which would debut on GT3).
Peugeot 206 WRC Gran Turismo 2 (1999) | Only NTSC-J/PAL GT2 gamers would see ESSO sponsorship on the Peugeot 206 Rally, while owners of the NTSC-U version get Exxon sponsorship.
Opel Astra Gran Turismo 2 (1999) | Should Racing modifications on this Astra be applied, the livery would look like its Touring Car counterpart (the Astra TC itself would debut on GT3). -- Last edit: 2016-06-16 05:41:11 |
