Lotus 18 Gran Turismo 2 (1999) | In the intro. Figured the intro centred so much on this there ought to be a profile on it. I think this might be Jim Clark.
Citroën Traction Avant Gran Turismo 2 (1999) | This caught my eye in the intro. Judging from the straight front bumper and the C-Pillar & trunk, this might be a 1956 11CV Normale . . . not entirely certain. A remarkable car.
Toyota Sprinter Trueno Gran Turismo 2 (1999) | *sigh* It's listed as an '85, yet clearly it says "Toyota Corolla Trueno '83" at the bottom of the screen... Priceless. -- Last edit: 2016-04-06 01:50:10

Mercury Cougar Gran Turismo 2 (1999) | IMCDb is as likely to be correct as IGCD is... According to wikipedia, the car was originally unveiled in the UK under the Ford name. It was built upon the Mondeo chassis to bring a Capri-like car back to the brand and as a larger alternative to the Puma. The Ford model also outlived the Mercury model by two years, continuing to be sold in Australia until 2004. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_Cougar -- Last edit: 2014-04-17 22:34:03
Mercury Cougar Gran Turismo 2 (1999) | I'm with Rinspeed on this. IMCDb has the Ford Cougar listed as US origin, not German origin. www.imcdb.org/vehicle_560482-Ford-Cougar-2001.html
Venturi 300 Atlantique Gran Turismo 2 (1999) | Interesting. I'm hoping that some of the newer Monegasque models get to appear in new GT or Forza games.
Mercury Cougar Gran Turismo 2 (1999) | Not false... the car originated as the European Ford model, which was then built and sold in the US under Mercury. We do the same thing with Vauxhall/Opel models, even though the Astra is assembled in the UK.
Mercury Cougar Gran Turismo 2 (1999) | Tuppence870 wrote This is actually a rebranded Ford Cougar from Europe. Should be origin Germany, made for USA. False also, Mercury Cougar is bulit in USA, Ford Cougar in Germany. It's a mondial vehicle.
Venturi 300 Atlantique Gran Turismo 2 (1999) | Tuppence870 wrote The origin for this and all other Venturi models is Monaco, not France. Totally false. Venturi is a french maker at the origin 1980's/1990's. Since the 2000's, it was acquired by Gildo Pastore a Monaco bussinessman and since that, Venturi is from Monaco.
