Volkswagen Gol GTI Car Town (2010) | Hi, new here The Gol GTI was also faster than the Polo GTI, the first GTI (1989-1994), above, was faster than the Polo G40 (MkII), the second Gol GTI (1995-1998) had two versions one with 8 valves and another with 16 (that's the interesting one), the 16V just had 140 or 145hp, probably the 16V was faster than the Golf GTI of the time (MkIII), the third one (1999-2001) was pretty much the same, but only had the 16V version, still faster than the Polo GTI (MkII) Correct me if I'm wrong -- Last edit: 2011-11-23 03:25:43 | |

It was something of a crude, noisy car, and the interior was pretty cheap. On the plus side, it was mechanically and structurally durable, somewhat zippy for an economy car, and could handle even the roughest dirt roads like they were nothing.
