MCI 102 EL3 Grand Theft Auto III (2001) | This bus can't be an MCI J 4500, because it was introduced in February of 2001, and according to this video, the Coach was already in the game at the point(at 0:26): www.youtube.com/watch?v=Es-yVL-AUMA I suggest to change it (and the one on the LCS page) to a 1997 MCI 102 EL3, the predecessor of the J 4500.
Zolland Design Volvo Amazon Kombi Grand Theft Auto V (2013) | I don't know why my previous comment was deleted, but I say it again: this car isn't a regular Amazon, it's based on a render by Zolland Design: www.zollanddesign.se/galleri/cars#&gid=1&pid=17 www.zollanddesign.se/galleri/cars#&gid=1&pid=18 www.zollanddesign.se/galleri/cars#&gid=1&pid=27 www.zollanddesign.se/galleri/cars#&gid=1&pid=41 www.zollanddesign.se/galleri/cars#&gid=1&pid=52 Since it's a just a render and not a real car, I think "Custom Made" should be the part of the name. -- Last edit: 2021-10-29 22:56:15
Dodge Intrepid Grand Theft Auto III (2001) | Silnev wrote Because the design documents for GTA 3 were released and the beta kuruma is listed as being based off a 1997 model. Well, then the document is wrong. The Kuruma is based on the second generation Intrepid, and the first model year of the second generation Intrepid was 1998, not 1997. I'm changing it back. -- Last edit: 2021-10-23 14:59:19
Dodge Intrepid Grand Theft Auto III (2001) | Why was the year changed to 1997? That was the last model year of the first generation Intrepid, and the Kuruma is based on the second generation. I'm changing it back.
Dodge Dakota Alan Wake Remastered (2021) | The front clip might looks like a Chevy S-10, but the rest of the car looks a bit too modern for an early 80's pickup. For comparison: S-10: d323w7klwy72q3.cloudfront.net/i/a/2013/20130409govt/hires/F2793.JPG Dakota: upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/b/b7/1990_Dodge_Dakota_LE_3.9_front.jpg So - as I said before - I suggest to change this pickup to a 1990 Dodge Dakota Club Cab. -- Last edit: 2021-10-11 04:12:44
![]() Alan Wake Remastered (2021) | I finally finished the game an added all vehicles. In general, I like how the cars look in the remaster, but I also noticed a couple of bugs: - The Ranger monster truck has missing headlight textures - The Econoline van's lights turn invisible when you shine a flashlight on them - The Camry's front left door is opened at an quite odd angle
![]() Alan Wake Remastered (2021) | The remastered version of Alan Wake is finally here! I'm planning to complete this page during the next few days. In terms of vehicles, a couple of things were changed in the game: - Generally, the cars are more detailed. Some of them were slightly changed, for example as the Econoline ambulance and truck has now the '92 grille instead of the '97 one, the Avalanche has round headlights, etc. - All product placement has been removed from the game: - The Lincoln MKT stayed in the game, but the badges are changed to "Lyndon". - The MKX has it's badges removed. - The Ford F-450 is also debadged and it has a new grille style. - THe Mercury Mariner was removed from the game, now a J60 Land Cruiser appears in it's place. - The Fusion is also removed, now an Accord appears where it was. - The Fiesta is replaced by a debadged MKX. - The MKS is replaced by a civilian version of the police Impala. - The video, in which the Mustang, Lancer, Silvia, and the Lexus appears has been replaced by an episode of the fictional TV show "Night Springs". A Dodge Ram and a Ford Ranger appears in the episode. - The Flex is replaced by the pickup, which is listed as a Chevy S-10 at the moment, but - as I said on it's page - looks more like a Dodge Dakota. - For some reason the wrecked J40 Land Cruiser doesn't appear in the game, it was replaced by a wrecked version of the Land Rover. - The driveable J60 Land Cruiser is white instead of light green. Unfortunately, it seems that the free camera mode doesn't work in the remastered version, so it's going to a bit more difficult to take screenshots - especially of the Chevy police truck and the Oldsmobile, as they are located in unreachable areas.
Dodge Dakota Alan Wake (2010) | I'm currently replaying this game, and I'd say lcpdcv was correct, this pickup rather looks like a Dodge Dakota, although i'd say it's a 1987-90 model rather than 1992-96: commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:1990_Dodge_Dakota_LE_3.9_front.jpg Edit: It's at least a 1990 model, that was the first year for the Club Cab version. -- Last edit: 2021-09-23 00:05:47
![]() Alan Wake (2010) | I'm a few days late, but the remastered version of Alan Wake is coming out next month: www.youtube.com/watch?v=mRVBZC-RJF0&ab_channel=PlayStation However, it won't feature any product placement, they will replaced by fictional brands. So, if I understand that correctly, the licensed vehicles stay in the game, but without badges.
Porsche Boxster Grand Theft Auto III (2001) | Apart from the front bumper, this car looks more similar to the 1993 Boxster concept than the production model: oldconceptcars.com/wp-content/uploads/porsche_boxster_concept_1.jpg i.pinimg.com/736x/e9/d4/17/e9d417ffebf2d82ff248db1693a1e58f.jpg
Pontiac Bonneville Safari Grand Theft Auto: Vice City (2002) | Based on the grille, I think this is rather a 1978-79 Pontiac Bonneville, not a Parisienne: Bonneville - barnfinds.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/c1-6.jpg Parisienne - www.imcdb.org/i001028106.jpg The Regina and the Bonneville has 10 slots on the grille, while the Parisienne has 14.

Honda CM 400 A Jazz Jackrabbit 2 (1998) | A few years late here, but on IMCDB the name of the bike this artwork is based on was changed from CB 400 to CM 400: www.imcdb.org/vehicle_137249-Honda-CM-400-A-1981.html
![]() Manhunt (2003) | Auto-Friki wrote I have put the nicknames of the respective vehicles that appear in GTA III in Manhunt, since their textures (with some exceptions) are almost identical. Why did you do that? GTA 3 is a different game than Manhunt, and in this game none of the vehicles have names.

Ford F-150 SVT Lightning Grand Theft Auto IV (2008) | I'd say that the Contender looks more similar to the SVT Lightning Concept rather than the regular F-150. 2004 F-150: www.motortrend.com/uploads/sites/10/2015/11/2004-ford-f-150-stx-2wd-truck-angular-front.png 2004 F-150 SVT Lightning Concept: hips.hearstapps.com/hmg-prod/amv-prod-cad-assets/images/03q2/267414/ford-svt-lightning-concept-photo-220622-s-original.jpg?crop=0.932xw:0.905xh;0.0323xw,0.0947xh&resize=980:* And the taillights were probably inspired by the 2001 F-150 Lightning Rod concept: cimg3.ibsrv.net/ibimg/hgm/1920x1080-1/100/679/ford-f-150_100679371.jpg BTW, looking at the older comments, someone suggested the SVT concept back in 2007, even before GTA 4 was released
Ford Crown Victoria Grand Theft Auto IV (2008) | Interestingly, on the game's cover art and on the Peyote's artwork the Police Cruiser looks more like the 1998+ Crown Vic: static.wikia.nocookie.net/gtawiki/images/4/44/GTAIV-Boxart.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20071128223330 static.wikia.nocookie.net/gtawiki/images/e/e8/Peyote-GTAIV-Artwork.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20130815035713
Honda Civic Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 (2002) | I edited the year to 1992 to match the one on the Underground 2 page.
Chevrolet Silverado Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 (2002) | On the Underground 1 and 2 pages this pickup is listed as a 1999 Silverado, I'm editing it. ![]() Grand Theft Auto: Vice City (2002) | I have found something interesting - in Little Haiti there are two building on which you can see the texture of a multistory parking lot. You can see them in this video at 6:30. Unfortunately, the textures are too blurry to identify the cars - however, a few days ago I found this topic on GTAForums: gtaforums.com/topic/968160-collection-original-hd-source-textures-iiivcsa/ DimZet found the original HD source of the textures used in the game - including the parking lot that I'm talking about: imgur.com/DvdJzIO imgur.com/HaFsfbI So, here's what I can identify: Picture 1: 1994-97 Honda Accord Coupe Pitture 2: 1st row: Volvo 240 2nd row: 1992-93 Honda Accord , 1993-97 Dodge Intrepid, 1999+ VW Jetta, 1994+ Chevrolet Blazer 3rd row: ? , Dodge Stratus or Neon?, Ford Ranger or Bronco II 4th row: ? 5th row: 1996-2000 Caravan/Voyager/T&C, 1984-92 VW Jetta, ? ,2000 CHrysler Voyager If the Lada Samara deserves a page, then I think some of these cars should be added too. -- Last edit: 2022-10-09 11:36:05
Jeep Grand Cherokee Days Gone (2019) | Silnev wrote Not too sure on this being a cherokee and agree with others on it being a Ford. I don't think it's a Ford. The way I see it, it's a Grand Cherokee with the front clip of a 2000 Nissan Xterra and with round wheel arches. Edit: On a second thought, it also reminds me of the first gen Subaru Forester. -- Last edit: 2021-04-27 23:11:27
Ford F-100 Biohazard: Village (2021) | holden nut wrote Chevrolet C/K. I'd say it's rather a 1967-69 Ford F-100: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_F-Series_(fifth_generation)#/media/File:1967_Ford_F100_Ranger.jpg But either way, it's an odd choice if the game is set in Eastern Europe.
Chevrolet Caprice Grand Theft Auto V (2013) | Speedy17 wrote What about Chevy Lumina SS? You mean this one, right? www.netcarshow.com/chevrolet/2008-lumina_ss/ It's also a rebadged Holden Commodore, so essentially it's the same car as the Pontiac G8. Also the Lumina SS was sold only in the Middle East and South Africa. I find it unlikely that they would put a car in the game that's sold only in a specific part of the world, while said car is actually sold in the USA - badged as the Pontiac G8.
Chevrolet Caprice Grand Theft Auto V (2013) | ![]() So, anyone agrees or disagrees with my previous comment? I still can't see too much similarity to the Caprice. -- Last edit: 2021-03-22 23:04:08
GMC C-2500 Highway Blossoms (2016) | Flippedoutkyrii wrote Looks like a mid 80's Dodge Ram to me! No, that's definitely a 1967-72 GMC C-Series.
Chevrolet Caprice Grand Theft Auto V (2013) | I don't think this car is a Chevy Caprice. Some people suggested the Chevrolet SS, and initially I wanted to agree with them, but then I noticed a problem: The SS is a rebadged Holden Commodore (VF). According to Wikipedia, it's production was started in July 2013 - but the Fugitive was first seen in Franklin's trailer, which was released on the April 30th of 2013. So, then what car is it based on? I believe it's a Pontiac G8, more specifically the GXP by the front bumper: i.redd.it/xaiqq6230s741.jpg It's not completely identical, but it's shape much closer to the G8 than the Caprice. For example, the midsection of the car is completely different from the Caprice (look at the picture krq9 posted earlier), but it matches the G8 quite closely. Some parts were definitely modeled after the G8 GXP, such as the front bumper, the mirrors or the wheels. The only similarity I see to the Caprice is the metal bar on the rear and the position of the rear license plate. Also, the Fugitive's description mentions that it's used by the police - it seems there were plans to use the G8 as a police car, and a prototype was built for the LAPD: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Prototype_Pontiac_G8_for_LAPD.jpg newatlas.com/futuristic-cop-car/12165/ www.vwvortex.com/threads/australian-company-tailoring-pontiac-g8-to-become-next-u-s-cop-cruiser.4269607/ Maybe that's where Rockstar got the idea from, and they wanted to make a high performance police car, like the Police Stinger in TBoGT, but they scrapped the idea. -- Last edit: 2021-03-17 19:58:17

Buick Riviera Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (2004) | Victor_2003 wrote The Idaho as cut from the game? No it wasn't cut from the game, it's just reused model from the previous GTA games, except it has no headlights and grille. However, during the Kickstart event in the Las Venturas stadium there are several wrecked Idahos with a missing front texture - I guess they forgot to retexture those ones after they deleted the headlight and the grille texture. Dodge Tradesman Grand Theft Auto: Vice City (2002) | generalrusty78 wrote Given you can't see those details for these cars we can just say it's a 1981 Ram Van and call it a day I thought that we are always adding the earliest possible year for the vehicles on the site. Also, sorry, I was wrong about the gas cap - the '79-80 Dodge Van and the 1981 Ram Van both had a round gas cap, then it was changed to a square gas cap for the 1982 model year.
Dodge Tradesman Grand Theft Auto: Vice City (2002) | generalrusty78 wrote I thought the Dodge Vans of the 1980s called Ram Vans? Or just call them the B-Series The Ram Van name was used only after 1981. As far as I know, the only difference between a '79-'80 Dodge Van and the 1981-85 Ram Van are the badges and the Ram Van had round gas cap.
Ford F-350 Grand Theft Auto IV (2008) | Just noticed, on the GTA V page the same towtruck is listed as a '55 F-350, while this one is a '56. It's definitely not a '56 model, because it has different window shape: imcdb.org/vehicle_85622-Ford-F-100-1956.html imcdb.org/vehicle_1451272-Ford-F-100-1953.html Edit: Also, I'd say it would be better to change both to 1953, the first model year of this generation. The towtruck has the front clip of a 1973-79 Chevy C/K, so it's impossible to determine whether it's a 1953 or a 1955 model. -- Last edit: 2021-02-22 04:32:55
