| It's worth mentioning that all of these cars (G8, Caprice, SS, Lumina, Commodore, etc.) are based on the same platform and share a lot of visual cues. Given the timeline of this page, we can rule out any cars based on the VF Commodore or WN Caprice as they were not available at the time, so the Chevrolet SS is impossible. One of the easy identifiers between the Caprice and Commodore is the shape of the rear window pillar. The Fugitive matches the Commodore, ruling out the Caprice entirely. This leaves us with cars based on the VE Commodore. While they share many visual cues, there are 3 distinct designs - Holden Commodore/Chevrolet Lumina, HSV E-Series/Vauxhall VXR8 and Pontiac G8. The Fugitive takes something from each of these - the grille is similar to Holden/Chevrolet, the taillights are similar to HSV/Vauxhall, the front bumper is similar to the Pontiac G8 GXP and the rest is shared across the range. Also the Lumina SS was sold only in the Middle East and South Africa. I find it unlikely that they would put a car in the game that's sold only in a specific part of the world, while said car is actually sold in the USA - badged as the Pontiac G8. | |

| I don't think this car is a Chevy Caprice. Some people suggested the Chevrolet SS, and initially I wanted to agree with them, but then I noticed a problem: The SS is a rebadged Holden Commodore (VF). According to Wikipedia, it's production was started in July 2013 - but the Fugitive was first seen in Franklin's trailer, which was released on the April 30th of 2013. So, then what car is it based on? I believe it's a Pontiac G8, more specifically the GXP by the front bumper: i.redd.it/xaiqq6230s741.jpg It's not completely identical, but it's shape much closer to the G8 than the Caprice. For example, the midsection of the car is completely different from the Caprice (look at the picture krq9 posted earlier), but it matches the G8 quite closely. Some parts were definitely modeled after the G8 GXP, such as the front bumper, the mirrors or the wheels. The only similarity I see to the Caprice is the metal bar on the rear and the position of the rear license plate. | The Fugitive is the go-to cruiser for law enforcement and those that want to pretend they are law enforcement. The gas mileage isn't so great, but cops mostly sit with the car idling anyway. | |

| FOr those who get the caprice ppv, ss, and holden possibly confused heres the rundown. THe Caprice ppv, is effectively a rebadge holden caprice VE Chassis. THe new SS is a rebadge of the new redesigned VF Commodore. | |
| Caprice/PPV is also a good guess, but the midsection/greenhouse is totally different from the SS, as it's derived from the long wheelbase version of the Holden. From the front doors onwards they're different vehicles. Here's a comparison of Caprice and SS. Note the longer body and rear quarter windows.  | |
