People who are that rich that they can buy G-Klasse, doesnt give a damn about emmisons, and they have luxury. Defender was expensive (at least in CZ) and unequipped. Still, it was a classic.

It was put out of production because of emission regulations. Seriously, a G-Klasse with it's equally boxy body shape is probably just as inefficient as this car, and it rides on a 30+ years old chassis as well. What the hell...

We have now just G-Klasse, Niva and Jimny as a classic off-roads (Wranger is quite modern).
