The overall shape looks like coming from a mid80s car, while the front is a VW Golf Mk3.
The body comes from a W201, I agree. I noticed only now the rear and how the side fascia has been made.

Lights are taken from VW Rabbit/Golf mk1 or US Escort, but rest of body doesnt match - I think M-B W201 could be very close
