Yeah i wouldn't mind it being replaced in the later Forza Games, but it's disappointing to see a kinda same car in each DLC and Horizon only gets 6 cars each DLC

It's a crew cab, and have improvements even in the modelling area, but I agree. This should have been since the beggining or being delayed until FM6. The amount of cars in FH2' DLC is low, so this, as DLC, is a bit of a waste.

I would rather they didn't waste their time and include this in the dlc in the very first place since it's pretty much the same as the stock one :/

I think it's mostly here in order to replace the older Raptor. This will have a proper underside.

Compared to the standard SVT Raptor, the Shelby Raptor features a modified, supercharged version of the 6.2L V8, now producing 575 hp, a specially tuned Shelby Stinger exhaust, and custom leather interior.

Otherwise, it's pretty much the same as a stock one. The bumpers and that big bar setup in the rear are parts from the Shelby options catalog.
