It is a HSV, the author has only changed the emblems to make it look like a Chevy. It's like you would stick a Ferrari badge on a Cinquecento

Holden Commodores which are exported to the middle east are rebadged as the Chevrolet Lumina. But I'm not sure if the HSV E2 GTS was also exported and rebadged.

I noticed that it's an HSV too, but the Chevrolet badge confused me.

Even though it has the Chevrolet emblem, this is clearly an HSV E2 GTS [VE].
