True, but even games from "back in the day" like GT2 don't have these M2s.

Technically, yes. But, this is a version by Mazda's short-lived division producing bodykits and parts for Mazda products, known by it's nickname Mazda Two.

The 1015 was the brand's second AZ-1 based product, following the 1014. M2 also produced 8 models based on the MX-5/Roadster and one based on the RX-7, called the 1020.

All of M2's cars were extremely limited production.

The 1050 can be identified from the normal AZ-1 by the extra lights on the front end and unique badging. Only 50 were built.
