Me too. They also had fewer luxuries and were lighter.

It's rumoured that when Lotus stop building them Caterham will buy the moulds for the Lotus and will move it closer to the MK1 model.

Here's hoping.

I have to say I prefer these early Elise's with their round and simple lines more than the later ones!
