Are you sure? Cause as far as I know, Ford manufactured a special Commercial Taxi Package long wheelbase model of Crown Vic called P70 for taxi usage. Adaptation a former police cruiser for taxi would be pointless and unprofitable. Rockstar just reused police model for taxi and that's why there is "Police Cruiser" badge visible on the rear.
