Did some research on '66 vs '67 GTOs. This is a 1966 GTO, because the GTO badge is on the fender, not the rocker panel.

Correct. Without seeing the taillights, it's difficult to tell if it's a '66 or a '67, though.

With that front end, it's a '66 or '67 GTO, not a '65.
