I still think it's a Hino Renault. It makes more sense to have because the Japanese police wouldn't use a Morris Minor at all. The only foreign car they used was the Styleline

You are ALL wrong. It is a 1954+ Hino Renault. VERY popular in japan and bears more resemblance than the Morris Minor.

The game is set in 1969, it seems a little unusual that the Japnanese would still keep a police car that is at least 19 years old in active service. As compared to the fresh faced youth of the Minor, which still has two years to go. We are entitled to our opinions, though.

I think it's a Morris Minor. The bump on the doors, the grille, the poached egg styling matches. The Chevrolet Styleline has smooth doors, and does not look as truncated as this.
