if this is really E39, it's just delightful news, yet all three would have added 5-er-er-er 7 80s-90s and it would be great, even the lack of Porsche is not spoiled

The new M5 doesnt have white indicators, the whole taillight shape wouldnt fit anyway. Heres the original screenshot its taken from:
