| Turret seems to be fitted with blocks of Kontakt-5 explosive reactive armor. There were very few Iraqi tanks fitted with any kind of ERA during the Iraq War and likely none during the Gulf War. But of course, there are no records of an Iraqi tank shooting down a cargo plane while blazing through an airport terminal either... |
