| Definitely an Opel, but I don't see that much Rekord in it. Opels of the time shared many styling cues, specially at the front. My money is on the Vauxhall Belmont or Talbot Solara: upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/c/c8/Talbot_Solara_GLS_Schaffen-Diest_2012.jpg | |
| 1978 Opel Rekord. C-pillar and taillights are wrong but the rest looks too close to be a coincidence. | |
| The headlights look too thick to be a Corolla, in my opinion. | |

| Throwing my hat into the ring, draw a diagonal line through the badge and you get a pretty good match to the Volvo 340 circa 1979-ish. They didn't have the vinyl roof, but as carcrasher said it's been stylised to seem older. The rear lights look very 80s-Nissan though, which confuses things. | |
| The basic shape and design seem quite similar, just with some styling changes that make it look a bit older. | |
| Possibly a Opel Kadett LS also known as the Vauxhall Belmont | |
| Opel? |
