And I think it does deserve its own page, as it's a different car altogether in the game files. The cop car doesn't have a class, the playable car is a race car.

A playable version has indeed been introduced as an abandoned car.

From the patch notes of tomorrow's June update:

- 'The preview image of the 2008 Ford Crown Victoria CVPI went into hiding, but we found it.'
- 'Fixed an issue that kept the "Air Suspension" vanity item on the 2008 Ford Crown Victoria CVPI from working when the player presses [LS] to stop the engine.'

Both of the details mentioned here would only apply to playable vehicles, which tells me that there's gonna be a drivable version coming with this update, likely one of the 'Iconic Need For Speed' vehicles that they'll be putting around the map in the same manner as abandoned vehicles.
