| That's basically like saying a Mitsubishi Eclipse is of Japanese origin, when in fact, it was developed and built exclusively in Normal, Illinois, making the Eclipse a car of US origin. Same case goes for the Crossfire. US nameplate, but since it's based on the [R170] SLK, and was exclusively built in Osnabrück, Germany, it technically should be of German origin. | |
| PikesPeak a écrit isn't this car origin Germany? It is based on a Mercedes SLK Typ 170, that is right, but it still is a Chrysler. | |
