![]() Grand Theft Auto: Mission Pack #1 - London 1969 (1999) | clandohoome wrote I think it'd look better if the pics for the cars in this and the other 2D GTAs were rotated 90 degrees so that they wouldn't be cropped in the thumbnails, but I know it'd be a faff for whoever had to edit and reupload all the pics. Damn I'm late, if I saw this comment earlier I would have done it, seems fun, would be nice to have the base colors too (that the models most likely were)
| Some kind of Clyde locomotive? not sure if its the 18 ton, or 24. | ||
| Kind of looks like one of the later 4-4-0 American's, like later 1800s. but with a strange made up tender? Paintjob kind of reminds me of the Central Georgia one. with the red front doors, and window frames and all. | ||
| Victor_2003 wrote The year its wrong, the model its more similar to the second gen produced in 1982-1987, in 1988 started the third gen. Never even noticed it listed as 88 Wonder how that happened :F | ||
| Vxctec wrote Too off for a Pontiac Sunbird. It reminds me of a Pontiac Trans Am but in the form of a sedan. Off how? | ||
| MacaStanier22 wrote I get what you mean, but the mothership Camper in game is not a different vehicle, in the games internal files there is no mothership, just the normal Camper. Look at the Berkley rc van for example, yes it just looks like a pony with RC advertisements on the side, but the thing is, that van is a completely different vehicle from the normal pony in-game, it has its own handling code and vehicle code. So in theory the mothership shouldn't have a page because it has no ther distinctions to make it a completely different vehicle(even the name "mothership" does not show up when you enter the vehicle, instead camper shows up, the name mothership is just a nickname given by the in game owner character of the vehicle "The Truth". I know it's the same car, I know it works the same as the paintjobs, Still don't change that this site will forever be inconsistant, and the way things work will seemingly be made up on the fly, Kinda why I explained that some cars like this get accepted while other ones that actually are different models get rejected. its almost.. random. | ||
MacaStanier22 Used Logic.![]() The argument for what should and should not be added is a pretty long one, Different skins are aloud, different models that look the same get rejected, And then there is The Getaway pages. where a car is the same but is used by a gang therefore seprate entry. What would be really nice is to have a sub catogory, like Click on a car and see more screenshots of variants, such as This, and the regular camper. trucks that come with different loads, or such things.
| Reviganteng wrote also anachronism in fact is 1978 vehicle but the license plate is from new york 2001-2010 license plate. This is an odd common thing for driver. All games have weirdly inconsistant plates, Driver 1 even had euro style plates on a lot of cars. For fun some oddities of 70s plates: Bus (2001 Stretched NY Plates) Cerrano (Vermont 69 Plates) Cerrano Punk (Vermont 69 Plates) Cerrano Racer (Vermont 69 Plates) Courier (Big John?) Melizanno (greenish blue NY plates?) Melizanno Racer (greenish blue NY plates?) Mutsumi 1000R (California Motorcycle Plates) Prison Van (2001 NY Plates) Raven (90s style California plates that say New York) Raven Racer (90s style California plates that say New York) San Marino (2001 NY Plates) San Marino Spyder (2001 NY Plates) Security Van (2001 NY Plates) Woody (2001 NY Plates) Yamashita 900 (California Motorcycle Plates) | ||
| The addition of Liftback as a catogory would be nice. | ||
| Vxctec wrote The company itself states that the Model S is a large sedan, the Tesla Model S is absolutely NOT a hatchback, this needs to be changed. Car companies also call 4 door cars coupes, and 5 door wagons shooting brakes. But marketing does not change the physical world. | ||
| Also arguing a car is an all wheel drive because its rear wheel drive in the game makes even less sense :B | ||
![]() Grand Theft Auto (1997) | Also just for fun, you know the police car on the cover was a taxi all along? I always thought it looked edited.![]()
| Deutz D series | ||
| VicBond1958 wrote It looks like the Bucciali Double-Huit Prototype from 1928. commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Bucciali-TAV_16_Double-Huit.jpg I don't want to be rude here. but how do things like this even happen? I'm genuinely curious. as this is a clear conscious choice. -- Last edit: 2022-06-29 23:39:43 | ||
| Matthew wrote 1984 Mercedes Benz 300D Diessel What would make this specificallyy diesel? | ||
| 1996 Gulf Stream Yellowstone oddley specific and accurate, other than the fact they changed the colors to remapable. | ||
A little strange but there is also a version of this that appears in purple, I have no idea why but this variant has higher resolution textures, different wheels, and smaller tail lights.![]() a little view of the size comparison here. -- Last edit: 2022-04-02 19:41:05
![]() Carmageddon II: Carpocalypse Now (1998) | Just a note to anybody looking: Added some Cut cars to the page, but these were all intended to be used as Drones, traffic cars. they are very different in style to the ones that ended up in game, and in some cases are recycled Carmageddon1 models. They are in the files, can be set to spawn, but are unused in the final game, And look unfinished.
Same as tashita the Porker2 has its actual headlight textures unused.![]()
| Just a little thing here, Did you know that the headlight textures are broken? It is set to use a much smaller texture than what is in the files. Here is how it would look with restored front textures, that are in the files but unused: ![]() | ||
| Just posting this mostly for fun, also could help. But the game has lots of unused sprites of the bikes doing wheelies, and leaning. as anybody who has played knows, only two frames are used, Top and Side, and for some reason the different topdown one on superbike. -- Last edit: 2022-03-30 21:03:27 | ||
| Victor_2003 wrote They used toys to make the cars? Seems to have been how they were done. Been compiling a list for years, pretty hard to find, somewhat of an obsession of mine. gathering plenty of reference images. | ||
| the roof line seems too low, but otherwise I really think it looks like an xk120 | ||
| Not sure exactly what year the face lift happens. Maybe 2001? Just saw that the game said 99, Also sae that the facelift has different years? I've seen 1997 - 2001 l200 / Triton, or whatever you call it? -- Last edit: 2022-02-19 20:53:51 | ||
| Oh? really? strange, could have sworn you were posting your opinion on some kind of public forum where anybody else is able to comment, odd, Not sure how I made it into your private messages here. | ||
| I think people overdo wish lists now. I like it when people add one or two things they really like. When your wish list is 99 cars long saying most of them are Not supercars kind of looses its point, Also just one more car and you could have had a round 100. odd. I still find this thing about people getting angry if a game has a car they don't like fascinating. Reminds me of GTAV pre release times. I don't even like Chinese cars but this is still more interesting than yet another Porsche that looks like the other porches. | ||
| Oh hey, CLK, can't tell what trim or all not expert :P Still own one despite it not moving, is that a 55? I have a 2003 320, and this has different front bumper, and lower trim. and wheels. | ||
| body looks a little more blocky to the rear, But the fenders, grill etc, all remind me of a Chrysler B-70 -Now that I look the nash also has a lot of the same features so I dunno -- Last edit: 2021-07-13 09:33:48 | ||
| SolanaBogon2 wrote the Talbot Express is a rebadged version of the first gen Fiat Ducato, and because of the grille I think the Ducato is closer (plus left hand drive) ah really? had no idea, Only found out about it because I was making camper models at one point. I figured it was its own thing :P my knowledge on euro vans is almost 0 ha. Also its been changed to ford since I last looked. ah. | ||
| Looks pretty close to a Talbot Express camper really. | ||
![]() Automation - The Car Company Tycoon Game (2018) | Some things have changed. I have more things to do in my own life now. and I will also not have the same help cleaning up the page or replacing images or such. because of this I am kind of forfeiting my involvement in this, so have at it I guess.
| Was too busy staring at that rear bumper. but now I see the window shaping and all nice spot. | ||
had these images for a while. I do like to shrink an image to the pixely little sprite the game uses for comparisons. ![]() And for anybody who is interested a kind of toy database so far. tho its real slow going. gathering the best top down images I can too. pastebin.com/qkKQVAxv The biggest struggle so far is the firetruck. can't seem to find a long nose truck like that, that was around in the 90s in toy form. I thought it was the hotwheels one but that only came out recently. strange how they are making modern toys in 90s trucks cars vans etc all of a sudden -- Last edit: 2021-04-06 23:53:14
| generalrusty78 wrote Seems to be based on the Hot Wheels '80's Corvette you can kinda see the gap for the openable hood static.wikia.nocookie.net/hotwheels/images/d/d8/%2780%27s_Corvette_Red_-_9791df.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20090617044936 Image seems to be broken, Got it on my list as most likely Matchbox 83 corvette. I should really get back to finishing that list :| | ||
![]() Automation - The Car Company Tycoon Game (2018) | Just a little note for anybody passing by, already seen people changing things around so I will be putting cars aws Unknown unless it already exists on the site. or is blatantly obvious. Mostly just here to provide images and sort cut models out.
| Going to throw in another weird opinion based on looking at toys again. Usually I would stick to games set in America having American cars but due to some of the other weirdness. 1986 Jaguar XJ, Possibly corgi jr. | ||
| Now that's weird, Looks like a Leyland, totally unfitting for the game but might be based on some kinda early white too? | ||
| if I remember right is that a 12C Alfa Romeo? | ||
| Forgot this was on the site. I really hope they also include the more original looking one. I felt the white was classy, compared to the red and all the chrome parts that were added much later in its life. | ||
Was about to say what carcrasher said after looking things up. Looks kinda big but still mini like. And as crasher said very like the Anglia body. Also seems to be in Walls Ice cream colors?![]()
| ahh they really needed more front textures. Funny thing is I did the same thing in duke back when I made maps.. Made a short model of my Volvo 240, and slapped a 70s honda front texture on it. Worked fine. this looks a little. odd. I should dig this stuff out again. forgot how fun this era was. i.imgur.com/UZ775Br.png | ||
| GeoZR177 wrote 1955 Ford Country Squire with some slight hints of Chevy Nomad Agreed. Mostly just a changed grill I think? and minor details.. like adding amber turn signals to the rear, odd Also did this just to amuse myself.. >.> i.imgur.com/vejglqT.png -- Last edit: 2020-07-30 19:24:10 | ||
| SolanaBogon2 wrote I'd rather say Massey Ferguson (on wich IMT is based), like the 35: hah.. somehow I totally forgot that existed. I just knew I had seen one somewhere before in Russian stuff. I think the centre part of the grill being colored threw me :P still looks kind of IMT like... But is more likely to be MF like you say. hah forgetfullness makes me feel dumb :B I should stick to classic cars. -- Last edit: 2020-07-30 19:19:11 | ||
| Some kind of IMT, strange choice for a game set in the states? also don't think one ever came with a V engine? | ||
![]() Brick Rigs (2016) | Reiner394 wrote Another garbage Minecraft lookalike. Minecraft is mining and stuff, this is lego? I can't really see a connection there? But yah they really thinned out the base cars too. Landover with trailer is gone dump truck is gone, white semi truck thing, even the cars on the cover are workshop cars hah -- Last edit: 2020-07-27 00:02:02
| Domas wrote then your "arsehole" comment will be not accepted then. go judge something else. this is black metal 4wd btw. no questions asked. don't care if its not same. you are surely wanted to do this because it's 'journalism". Possible, But I dunno if they would call a boarder patrol truck that? Its kinda far removed from the original bonus car ya? | ||
| Looks a lot like a Farmall 300 without a hood? | ||
| well they went with the generic wagon shape. Being green with wood panels makes me think was it something to do with the Christmas Vacation movie? the car in it as far as I can remember was red but much of the artwork, merchendise and all showed a green wagon strange enough. anyway, it don't look liek any of those cars. The more rounded shape of the front makes me think away from the good ol caprice and stuff, Possibly the later facelift on the LTD Crown Victoria? forgot what year it was, late 80s, to like 1990. or something? | ||
| Eldorado, Probly 74? trying to find a trim level but I have no idea Most I see for sale are just listed as 'Eldorado' | ||
| Looking a lot like some kind of Dodge B Series here. with more chrome on the grill. |
