![]() Spore: Galactic Adventures (2009) | For anyone looking to help with this game, it's important to note that A) Galactic Adventures is just an expansion of the base game Spore (2008), and that B) all vehicles in this game were created using the in-game editor, including those provided by the developers. -- Last edit: 2022-02-15 19:59:31
| RealCarter a écrit Haven't heard about game updates before? This was one of the first cars to be added to the game (it's number #008 in game). If anything, it's probably a reference to the Mad Max Interceptor. -- Last edit: 2022-01-24 17:23:32 | ||
| Not sure if this makes a difference here, but the Street Roader toy started its run as a licensed 1988 Suzuki Samurai before the Suzuki branding was removed in 1995. | ||

| Call me crazy, but this looks like a Holden or HSV Commodore (VF) | ||
| Auto-Friki a écrit Why was it called Focus Cosworth? Was it an evolution of the 1999 Focus WRC in prototype format? It was developed by Cosworth as a potential successor to the famous Escort RS Cosworth, and yes it was inspired by the WRC car. Although I can't say for certain, this was probably developed into the original Focus RS in 2002. | ||
| The name implies this is specifically a Mazda Roadster | ||
| The name implies this is specifically a Nissan March | ||
| For the most part this is like a 2002 Explorer, even if some of the front and rear details resemble more recent models. | ||
| Rover 400 1993-1994? | ||
| The front end reminds me of the Renault Kangoo 2013-2021 | ||
| Auto-Friki a écrit Knowing that most generations of the Transit were manufactured in the factory in Germany, from which generation did the Transit begin to be manufactured in Turkey? in the sixth generation? The main Transit model was never actually built in Germany (only the Taunus Transit was). The Transit factory timeline looks a bit like this: Germany (Taunus Transit): 1953-1965 United Kingdom: 1965-2013 Belgium: 1965-2003 Australia: 1966-1986 New Zealand: 1966-1986 Turkey: 1967-present South Africa: 1967-1974 The Netherlands: 1975-1981 China: 1997-present Belarus: 1997-2000 Vietnam: 1998-present Romania (Transit Connect): 2002-2013 Russia: 2011-present Spain (Transit Connect): 2012-present United States: 2013-present It gets complicated, and I haven't even mentioned how the current Transit is both the 4th generation and the Mk 9 because of how different markets called the mid-gen facelifts. -- Last edit: 2021-11-23 15:35:42 | ||
| Auto-Friki a écrit Was not the first generation made in Germany? Ford is complicated, since they make many vehicles that aren't sold in their home country. Ford Europe was created when Ford Britain & Ford Germany merged in 1967. Although they are currently based in Germany, they have factories across Europe, and many of their older models have strong British heritage. The original Transit was developed by Ford Britain in 1965, but was later built in Belgium, The Netherlands & Turkey. The Transit was also the last Ford to be built in Britain, after production was permanently moved to Turkey in 2013. | ||
| Auto-Friki a écrit Sorry? Wasn't MG who sold the Metro first? It started out as the Austin Metro in 1980, but was rebranded to Rover in 1987 when the Austin name was retired. During this period, the MG name was only used for performance versions of Austin & Rover models, hence the sportier Metro was an MG. | ||
| Auto-Friki a écrit Police or fire chief's car? Red police cars are used by diplomatic protection in London. Although in this game they are used by armed police. | ||
| Auto-Friki a écrit This car reminds me, from the front, of the Vauxhall Corsa. It's actually based on a Vauxhall Astra (Opel Kadett E). Bedford was Vauxhall's commercial vehicle brand until the 80's. | ||
| Auto-Friki a écrit Basically what was Iveco-Ford? A joint-venture with the collaboration of Iveco to provide Ford engines to its trucks? The Ford Cargo was an existing truck made by Ford UK from 1981, but Iveco bought out Ford Europe's commercial division and renamed it to the Iveco-Ford Cargo in 1991. When they introduced the Iveco EuroCargo in 1993, trucks made for the UK market kept the Iveco-Ford name until the UK plant was closed in 1997. -- Last edit: 2021-11-22 02:34:58 | ||
| Looks to be a replica of the Car Town ice cream truck: www.igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=31512 And although that van and its variants are still listed as Divco, I maintain that they're based on a similar ice cream van from Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen: www.imcdb.org/vehicle_252119-Made-for-Movie-Dodge.html -- Last edit: 2021-09-25 18:29:42 | ||
| Mountain45 a écrit Hello, can I ask you guys a question? I had one for you Tuppence870 I posted that comment 7 years ago, but sure go ahead... | ||
| I could be wrong, but it looks like it's used in the background of TBOGT's opening cutscene at 2:04 www.youtube.com/watch?v=NlsOiwoUGQ0 | ||
| upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/c/c2/Armored-truck.jpg/1280px-Armored-truck.jpg This is the vehicle it is clearly based on. Trouble is, I have no idea what it's called. | ||
| Looks a bit like the old Vauxhall Vivaro / Renault Trafic if you squint really hard. -- Last edit: 2021-08-04 23:07:08 | ||
| Specifically this could be a Bedford Bambi, which was an official camper conversion of the UK-market Suzuki Super Carry. | ||
| Side profile suggests a Volkswagen up! 2011-present EDIT: Sometimes I wonder why I bother fact-checking my edits for small games like this, when most of the information I submit gets ignored, removed or replaced. -- Last edit: 2021-06-03 19:18:12 | ||
| This is actually an altered Cavalcade by the way. It's been given a similar treatment to the Chavos and Mule in this game. | ||
| We should really be giving this the same treatment as Vice City's Infernus. In that game, a Countach was heavily modified to the point where it's almost unrecognisable, and yet we still list it as Countach because that's clearly what inspired it. This Infernus is also fairly unique-looking. It does not resemble a Vector in anything more than a superficial sense, yet we know for a fact that it was inspired by the Diablo and some details still point that way. I don't know why some people seem to be under the impression that insider or developer information is invalid when identifying a car on this site. I can think of several examples lately where that sort of thing has been very helpful to moderators. If anything, it's the most reliable source of information out there. -- Last edit: 2021-05-23 01:40:53 | ||
| This livery is based on a real Lotus Esprit used by British police in 1994 www.lotusespritworld.com/EOtherstuff/PoliceEsprit.html | ||
| It immediately reminded me of this: www.igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=700 So, Mitsubishi Mirage 1995-2003 | ||
| That's interesting actually. I've got a model of a DBS next to my computer and I just held it up to the screen to see if it fit, and proportionally it's pretty close. However, one the topic of side skirts, the DBS has one, but it's not an exact match and still lacks any kind of shoulder line running along the doors. This is unlike the Vantage which is clearly the inspiration behind the detailing on this car. I guess it's a little bit of both? But is it more of an extended Vantage or a DB9 with Vantage parts? | ||
![]() Euro Truck Simulator 2 (2012) | Although I haven't seen it on the road yet, I spotted the ATS Tesla parked outside the playable area in Spain.
| Godza a écrit C-Pillar seems like Lexus LC than DB11 I'd say that's plausible. Both the LC & DB11 are more similar than you'd expect, but on closer inspection I've changed my mind to the Lexus. | ||
| car-dude44 a écrit Nope, Aston Martin DB9. What makes you think this is a DB9 exactly? Most modern Astons are fairly similar so it is easy to get them mixed up (and people on this site frequently do). However all of the details I see here point to the Vantage, most notably the side skirt and feature line across the doors. PS; Having looked into it a bit more, I have a feeling that the side skirt is specific to the V8 Vantage S & V12 Vantage (2011-2018) -- Last edit: 2021-04-10 21:57:06 | ||
| It's worth mentioning that all of these cars (G8, Caprice, SS, Lumina, Commodore, etc.) are based on the same platform and share a lot of visual cues. Given the timeline of this page, we can rule out any cars based on the VF Commodore or WN Caprice as they were not available at the time, so the Chevrolet SS is impossible. One of the easy identifiers between the Caprice and Commodore is the shape of the rear window pillar. The Fugitive matches the Commodore, ruling out the Caprice entirely. This leaves us with cars based on the VE Commodore. While they share many visual cues, there are 3 distinct designs - Holden Commodore/Chevrolet Lumina, HSV E-Series/Vauxhall VXR8 and Pontiac G8. The Fugitive takes something from each of these - the grille is similar to Holden/Chevrolet, the taillights are similar to HSV/Vauxhall, the front bumper is similar to the Pontiac G8 GXP and the rest is shared across the range. Given the US setting the Pontiac G8 GXP makes the most sense, but the Commodore would also be acceptable. -- Last edit: 2021-03-25 03:33:01 | ||
| Wagon version of this: www.igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=244712 Closest real-life equivalent would be the 2004 Aston Martin Vanquish Bertone Jet 2 | ||
| Convertible version of this: www.igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=244712 Closest real-life equivalent would be the 2004 Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato Roadster | ||
| It's so strange that just about the only country in-game not to feature this British fire engine is the UK. Maybe one day when they finally get around to updating Britain they'll have a chance to rectify that? | ||

| The wiki has more information about this car, including front shots: motorstorm.fandom.com/wiki/Unknown_Rally_Car They reckon it's based on a 1999-2003 Škoda Octavia WRC, which seems plausible. -- Last edit: 2021-03-17 02:56:42 | ||

| If the name of the game means anything, this is likely a Morris Mini. | ||
| This has the distinctive Kammback tail only seen on the DB6 (1965–1971) | ||
| Taillights and other details indicate this is a 2005-06 Ford GT, not GT40 | ||
| 1771 Cugnot Fardier, similar to this www.igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=31371 | ||
| Definitely based on a 1982-92 Chevrolet Camaro. Taillights, windows and rear body shape are a match. | ||
![]() Destruction AllStars (2021) | This is one of those rare times that I'd be tempted to list every vehicle in this title as Made For Game. While there may be some loose influence here or there, these look like unique designs to me.
| I don't know much about this brand, but I believe it is an older Hymer, possibly a Hymer Starline B 680 -- Last edit: 2021-02-18 22:57:42 | ||
| The rear is from a 1996-1999 Renault Sport Spider However the rest is obviously very different | ||
