Maybe but the Powerstroke is a very rare car on the site and in reality (and would be a great addition here). Sure we could list it as another MFG because it's not a perfect replica (I think the body may be derived from a modern F-150), but then you'd have to do the same with every other unlicensed car on the site and that won't be beneficial to anyone.

Wait what? Surely the fact it looks like a Ford Powerstroke Concept would make it a Ford Powerstroke Concept... Right?

This is definitely a wagon/estate and is nowhere near tall enough to be considered an SUV. You can see a number of them in this screenshot with people and a Crown Vic for height comparison: www.148apps.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/06/xcomeu19.png Also you can see a closeup at around 0:55 in the opening cutscene: youtu.be/mMhdzRDIddU?t=55s

I would agree that this is closer to a Mazda6 rather than a 3rd gen Mondeo, especially from the side view: www.buyacar.co.uk/img/lrg/mazda_mazda6_diesel_estate_35642.jpg

From what I could gather, all missions that can appear in different countries are just an American template with another country's name slapped on top of it, so you'll see these US police cars in any country.

The problem here is that the Mk's on those forums are not using the same system that we use here. The Mk's we use here refer to Full Model Changes (FMC's) rather than simple Facelifts. Whenever a vehicle is updated, it will go through one of these changes. Facelifts are cheaper and are mostly cosmetic changes to existing parts - the new vehicle is almost identical to the old one, but will look more modern. FMC's are more expensive, since the entire vehicle will be redesigned from scratch - the new vehicle is completely new, and shares almost nothing with its predecessor except its name, purpose and a small number of parts.

About a month(?) ago somebody hacked RacingFreak and changed the names of some high-profile games to offensive ones. I think Forza and The Crew were among those affected. They have obviously now been corrected.

I guess finding out who hacked Racingfreak's account isn't useful at all, hmmm?

If you think I'm paranoid, then you've got completely the wrong idea about me, but I don't see any reason to believe you aren't lcpdcv.

You joined the site less than a week ago yet have knowledge of things that happened long before I joined. You've been offensive to newer users and have done nothing but complain about martin07/vw since you arrived.

Honestly I don't think your story of vw hacking the site is plausible. vw is an idiot who can barely speak his own language - do you really think he's smart enough to hack anything? And why the hell would he confess to you that he was doing this? Why do you even have him as a contact on Skype? Your story has more plot holes than Prometheus...

Actually this is the facelifted MkIV Transit.

I've had a look through the site and it seems that many of the Transits here are incorrectly identified. This is how they should be listed:
