The rest of it is derived from the Mini Cooper, with the taillights being from the Agyo. I can tell that if it had 2 doors at each side, then even a Fiat 500L would be a better choice over this than the Yaris at any time. I'm going to have to disagree with you there. Nothing on this car resembles a Mini of any generation (and I should know because I own one and am 3D modeling another). Perhaps the Yaris isn't the best fit, but several details are reminiscent of the Aygo, such as the rear bumper and the overall silhouette. | |

As I explained in the link provided, very little about the VW New Beetle is actually American and I think they should all be changed to German across the site. Yes, the original concept car that the New Beetle was based on was designed in California (it's not unusual for cars to be designed in countries other than their origin), but the production car was designed and built in Germany, even if production moved to Mexico later. It's not like the New Beetle was exclusive to North America, and in fact certain models like the New Beetle RSi were exclusive to Europe. | |

The Ford Transit in ATS is listed as a German model when it isn't. That is pretty much exactly what I said about the Buick, but the Transit is a different case. The Transit has a history as a European market model dating back over 50 years, whereas it only came to the US market in 2014. Ford of Europe is based in Germany, and most EU-origin Fords are listed as German to reflect that, including most other Transits. I believe the reason for it being listed as German is because IMCDb views it as a rebadged Opel Astra.
