| So, this is the first licensed Talbot on the site. | ||
| Hakari a écrit They should put there a Chevy logo at least. It looks like an unlicensed car. Political correctness is eating its own tail. I still don't know why they didn't decide to replace those cars with different trims. Like the Camaro RS, or Z28, that kind of stuff. | ||
| Burn Rubber a écrit I wonder why it breaks it... I don't know a lot about php but I think it is used for some commands, so adding it at a random point in the code will break the page. | ||
| Burn Rubber a écrit Still wont let you search by name though. Same thing, add a backslash. ![]() www.igcd.net/vehicles.php?make=Mine\%27s ' breaks the code, but adding a backslash before it makes it act like a regular character. | ||
| JFK a écrit There is a problem with ' Tried with a backslash? Like that: \'s | ||
| Burn Rubber a écrit It's already listed as a 2006. The game was released in 2004, that's the problem. However this was part of a DLC and you know how many DLC they release for Sims games... | ||
| This is a Mk. VI. Same thing for the Racing Rivals's one. -- Last edit: 2016-10-24 12:58:20 | ||
| But it wasn't meant to compete with the Elise. As I said, it wasn't made for performance but for sensations. And since it doesn't even have a windshield (well, originally), it is probably funnier to drive than the Elise, even if it's obviously slower and heavier. | ||
| Burn Rubber a écrit The sad truth of it is, that if it isnt mainstream it's worthless to game devs. Even just Roadsters alone could full up a book. Renault Spider, Rinspeeds (the car. Not the admin. ), That one Lotus concept from a while back, Opel Speedster, etc... Not really. They all need to have a lot of popular cars, but there are pretty often unexpected cars in racing games. Look at NFS 2015 with its 3rd gen Mustang, its '32 Ford and its Volvo 242, or even The Crew's C8 Aileron. How often do you see a Spyker in an arcade racing game? | ||
| Yep, I wanted to check on Renault's site but they don't have a model history anymore. I guess they figured people who are interested by that already know better. | ||
| I can't find any official source, but people tend to put Renault Sport instead of Renault all the time while it isn't even a real brand. The French Wikipedia page calls it a Renault Spider, but the English page calls it a Renault Sport Spider. Also, they're all listed as Renault Spiders here. It isn't a bad car in any way. It was made for sensations rather than performance, but it's still faster than the Clio Williams which nobody ever say is a bad car. -- Last edit: 2016-10-22 16:53:49 | ||
| I didn't remember that game had so many DLCs. They weren't sold on PC so that's probably why. | ||
| Very Italian looking car, really fits the manufacturer. | ||
| Twilight Sparkplug a écrit But still, the way it has the same in-game manufacturer name as a lot of other american cars, I still think it is more meant to represent a cobra like car.. In other words I cant see it being an exotic European car. Even it it does have elements of some. There's a manufacturer in the game that sells cars based on a Nissan, a Ferrari and a Lincoln... | ||
| Razor440 a écrit This website speaks in only THREE languages. English, French, and Czech. Actually there's a project to translate the site in more languages, click Translation on the top right of the page. ![]() | ||
| No, what I meant is that I thought the model should be Lancer Evolution instead of just Lancer. Turns out it is written this way on other Evos: www.igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=93487 | ||
| Shouldn't the model be Lancer Evolution? | ||
| Burn Rubber a écrit True that. I never saw the appeal in making your car look like a Barn Find with fat tires and stupid exhaust piles. I think it looks cool. | ||
| Mangusta front end and Pantera rear end. | ||
| Dayum | ||
| carcrazedalex586 a écrit So EA Seattle took photos of real cars at dealerships and slapped them on new textures for the traffic cars from the PS2 version? That's usually how you make textures for models that aren't important at all. -- Last edit: 2016-10-13 16:51:52 | ||
| Hakari a écrit Interior screenshot looks to be from different car. Compare the mirror shape, location of side windows vents and amount of roll bars behind the windshield. Plus we can see the driver on the right side of the car in the front shot. ![]() | ||
| Definitely a Triumph. | ||
| Zordid a écrit Apart from Chevrolets, Turn10 already did that :P Well, I only played Apex and there's no upgrades in this game. So I don't know. ![]() | ||
| J-2 a écrit This car has a weird bug. Comes standard without the chrome trim on the sides, if you want to add them back, you have to "delete" them in the parts selector, since somehow it's reversed. Does that mean you can remove the trim on other cars? That's a nice feature. ![]() | ||
| I think it's just the Charger and the Camaro in The Crew. I think the traffic should have the same cars as the players, some rarer than others, plus some unique vehicles like trucks, small cars and that kind of stuff. That would make a racing game's world feel much more alive. | ||
| Upload it to an image hosting site, post the link in the comment and ask for an admin to replace the main picture. | ||
| k20lover199 a écrit Why is this car LHD? Can't T10 just mirror the interior model or switch the position of the figure? No, they can't easily do that. | ||
| AutoTracker a écrit Why does it look like a reused model from Shutokou Battle 2? igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=32864 Shutokou Battle wasn't published by Sega, so they didn't have access to its models. That's impossible. | ||
| I can see why it's listed as a Speed 12 because the headlights and splitter are a bit similar. That's everything that looks like the TVR though. | ||
| It's a 70's V8 Vantage. autowpaper.com/images/aston-martin-v8-vantage-1978-1.jpg | ||
| Unplayable? | ||
| This car is named in reference to a bunch of people who do yearly Ram Van races in Youga, Japan. | ||
| I don't know, there's too many details, with the black line that cuts it in half, the black air intakes and the square-ish headlights. It looks saturated. I think the same way about modern Nismos... | ||
| This is the first game ever where your avatar drives the Mono without a helmet. | ||
| Was the front end designed by a 12 year-old? | ||
| carcrazedalex586 a écrit I think I know what I should do. I should switch to hardware mode. Ain't that right? Yes. You can enable anti aliasing with the hardware render mode. | ||
| There's a lot of aliasing, did you use an emulator? | ||
| carcrazedalex586 a écrit Here is a high-quality shot of the Sport C190 Super: i.imgur.com/jC86Wsn.png Trivia: -The Sport C190 Super has a Japanese license plate, meaning it is an Eastern Bay car. So, I took the picture in Eastern Bay. Isn't Eastern Bay supposed to be Hong Kong? | ||
| Automotive Gaming a écrit IGCD top members at their best. Giorgietto Giugiaro designed both DMC-12 and M1, and also the Lotus Esprit, just in case someone will wonder about that one too. I didn't know that. Guess that makes them pretty similar. Still not a German Delorean. ![]() | ||
| Burn Rubber a écrit It's your opinion. Not the truth. There is no real proof BMW based this off the M1. Considering the M1's developpement started 10 years before the DMC-12 was released, it doesn't make any sense. | ||
| HQMonaro1972 a écrit I ain't smokin shit. It's a German delorean. Both hatchbacks.Both same shape.Both in Australia.Both are RR. German Delorean. What do you mean they're in Australia? The M1 also performs way better. It accelerates almost twice as fast as the DMC-12, has a way higher top speed, and was simply designed with racing in mind. The DMC-12 is just a low-end sports car. If anything, the DMC-12 is a slower, American M1. -- Last edit: 2016-10-03 17:36:47 | ||
| It's in pretty much every racing game, period. | ||
| HQMonaro1972 a écrit They're essentially the same fucking shape. They are both in Australia. They are the Same.Damn.Thing. No. | ||
| This car isn't a DMC-12. It's the exact same car as the P12, with different bumpers, and that one is listed as a Countach. | ||
| HQMonaro1972 a écrit You know,if Turn 10 included the German delorean,shouldn't they have put in the real one? This car has pretty much nothing to do with the Delorean. They're both rear engined, rear wheel drive cars but that's it. Plus the M1 is older. | ||
| Milano is also written on the control panel in the interior shot... | ||
| enzo96 a écrit How did they get this? Isn't this exclusive to GT? :I No. It isn't a Vision Gran Turismo, it's an old Citroën concept car, it's just called GT because it's a GT. [Edit] Actually it sounds like you're right. I think the car was made to promote GT and wasn't supposed to be exclusive to the GT series. -- Last edit: 2016-10-02 22:19:33 | ||
| Racedriver43 a écrit But it takes place in Australia. The car is LHD. | ||
| Sharky a écrit I really don't think it's such a big deal that the cars were spawned in with a trainer. Sure, it looks dumb, but I don't think someone is going to buy GTA and get extremely upset that they can't drive this snowy car at the airport. If I remember correctly, some of the old Social Club vehicle pictures showed the larger snow-covered vehicles at the airport too. The rules say no mods. But this isn't a mod, it's a trainer. ![]() |
