Despite the fact that the Mondeo was never sold in USA, the vehicle design are more important, the "Mundano" name are to ressembles "Mondeo". Like that are writed here, Silnev, the developers added some britsh elements for the game.

The devs were british and were most likely using british models when designing the game. Also using the GTA wiki as your 'proof' just makes your argument look flimsy.

I think I found it. The closest Alfa Romeo I could find is the Alfa Romeo GTV6. The best thing is that I even found an image of it, which looks the same as the one on the GTA cover (the Alfa Romeo on the GTA cover is dim, but other than that both images look identical).

But the game has lots of unused sprites of the bikes doing wheelies, and leaning. as anybody who has played knows, only two frames are used, Top and Side, and for some reason the different topdown one on superbike.

And for anybody who is interested a kind of toy database so far. tho its real slow going. gathering the best top down images I can too.

The biggest struggle so far is the firetruck. can't seem to find a long nose truck like that, that was around in the 90s in toy form. I thought it was the hotwheels one but that only came out recently. strange how they are making modern toys in 90s trucks cars vans etc all of a sudden
