So they knew the 3-door Si better because it had the pre-2004 bumper. This is probably also because the badge on the rear was the normal badge and not the Type-R badge. Man, they should've done full research on cars.

I think you are talking about Lancia Rally 037. Stradale was a road legal version of 037.

Either way, it's never been quite right in some areas. Little details--has the Honda name spelled out on the tailgate, which the real car did not. Also has a standard H logo rather than the red one used on the Type R.

If you look at it in the game, you can see some clues of the Corvette in it, but then it has a Corvette engine so i don`t think it is to far fetched
