Entry Completed.

Two things:
1. The underside of the playable cars have the metal base of the real toys as the textures which is a neat touch:

(Sol-Aire CX4's base)

2. It seems in early versions of the game the car Slingshot was meant to appear as a playable car before being cut.



Also you can see the beta design of the HUD in that screenshot.

Something to note about Surf Crate is that the actual hot wheels toy has a surfboard that sticks out the rear window which the game model lacks. Hence why it has "surf" in it's name.

In the story mode of the game this car is the fastest car in the game, can turn in invisible and time travel. It doesn't do the other two things but apparently it can do that...

This car is the most OP car in the game. You can unlock it from the challenge series before starting the story mode. At which point it will cream every mission as it's fast and got alot of armor.

Nope, none of these unplayable vehicles display there names but how I know this truck is called "Semi-Fast" then why not type in "Hot Wheels Semi-Fast" on google then you will see the toy version of it. Also I used to have that toy truck back in my childhood.

Interestingly, Midnight Otto wouldn't become available in green paint until 2008, when it was part of the Walmart exclusive 2008 Mardi Gras series...6 years after this game's release.
