2023-03-24 20:49 | I think Midway (or someone else) is usually responsible for open beta pics. I'll handle finalized pics. But I haven't seen him since, so I don't know. It's probably because you're not the contributor of the entry. -- Last edit: 2023-03-27 19:09:56

2023-03-17 21:00 | I wonder why we don't get such models in ATS. I'm not an ETS 2 player, but majority of the AI vehicles in American Truck Simulator are far too old/rare for US roads. The fact that they have a current generation Tesla (I hate this company, only giving out an example) while ATS still uses the oldest Model S speaks out. I don't think that SCS properly knows what traffic in America looks like, but European traffic matches more towards this game. At least add more modern/new traffic vehicles in ATS like a Traverse, Kia Soul, Fusion etc, so people don't have to resort to mods.

2023-03-07 22:40 | Also, one more thing, production years are not model years. Reverting to 2015. And yes, I've kept begging SCS to add this to ATS, because I've been the torchbearer to have this model to remove the S-Max. I mean come on, why is SCS so hesitant to convert it to ATS? They did this to the Mustang when it showed up to ETS2 update 1.31, and both variants made it to ATS (albeit the convertible model has different rims) in update 1.32. Between 1.30 and 1.47 (as of this writing) there have been 17 major game updates in the six years this model arrived to ETS2 and ATS still hasn't got one. It remains ETS2 exclusive all while the Ford S-Max remains in ATS. This has to stop. -- Last edit: 2023-06-17 01:33:03

2023-03-06 22:55 | I'm not legally responsible of replacing any pics until the actual DLC is available to our hands or the patch associated with the compatibility of the expansion is available. Especially this since the model will likely be restricted to the Balkan territories.

2023-02-19 17:53 | Well, without any form of screencaps there's no proof. Though I do agree with it being a W124, but without any imgur caps it's a tough battle to go through. But why would SCS suddenly go for a 80s sedan (which I suspect it will be regional-based)? It certainly doesn't have the ranks of a Zastava (which is ideal for the Balkan countries). I admit regional-based cars are good choices but SCS is so far behind the times on modern cars that are generally common in Europe. Like every time I am on Google Streetview I'm constantly bombarded with cars that SCS seems to have no interest in adding. And there are lots of them which I filed a spreadsheet for.

2023-02-18 20:04 | Looking at the video from 15th february on FB, I guess I can confirm it's a W124. Rear lights doesn't look like any of Mercedes models, but the shape of trunk cover confirms it. And also general shape of the front. Visible in 12 and 17 second marks

Also it might be tied to the West Balkan expansion since old Benzes are a popular sight there as well. Unless this car shows up in update 1.47 or later (and I will provide new pics), or someone gives us a front pic, it'll be either a 190E or the W124.

2023-01-24 22:26 | Calm down. They're accepted though, as I just saw them. Except one of them has a real VW badge which probably means they look like third-party mods. Look, if it helps I will do the vehicles they add in the West Balkans expansion, including the border crossing cars, since the western portion of the Balks still have stricter entries and they're not part of the Schengen Agreement (yet). Best part is that I don't use any Workshop mod. -- Last edit: 2023-01-25 03:49:41 |

2023-01-11 01:51 | So it looks like it won't be used as a traffic car in ETS 2. Thank god. I added its Euro equivalent (which I requested SCS to add via my spreadsheet). RushCars24 wrote Of course, not the first time that SCS reuse something like this, they previously brought the Mercedes-Benz C-Class S204 and the Ford S-Max to American Truck Simulator, even thought both of those vehicles are not sold in the U.S. Not for long, though. I asked them regarding these vehicles and I, pray tell they get rid of them. I kept relitigating the fact that the Jeep Renegade from ETS2 would replace it. Whatever vehicle replaces that S204 wagon would either be the XC60, XC70 or whatever other wagon that was sold in the States. I provided detailed, valid reasons why I wanted them gone on their Steam discussions (because they read them too, not just the official forums). -- Last edit: 2023-01-11 01:54:48

I've noted some Teslas on the AI vehicle spreadsheet. Edit, it is known as Zastava 1100 in some other countries due to Peugeot using 0 in the middle, but it was known as 101 then in Yugoslavia -- Last edit: 2023-01-06 18:15:01 |
