2022-06-15 18:46 | Well at the time of release it was regarded as the best Simpsons game since the arcade game from the 80s. It also came out the same year as the god awful Simpsons wrestling. As for the lawsuit, that happened like a year or two later and was settled out of court. I'd say that while this is a blatant rip off of Crazy Taxi it is the far better game. Crazy Taxi is fun for 5 minutes, Road Rage has actual replayability. If it wasn't for the long load times it would easily be held to a similar regard as Hit and Run these days. |

2022-06-15 17:43 | More realistically, it's sad how this became unloved. All-in-all it felt more like a Crazy Taxi clone but with Simpsons characters. I recall there was a lawsuit involved with this, according to old comments (which were wiped out sadly). |

2022-06-15 15:57 | Entry completed. So as a little aside, Road Rage was meant to feature one large map before it was broken up into individual neighborhoods. Since I was making custom map images, I decided to put them altogether to see what that map might have looked like: ![]() Also due to the Gorge you wouldn't be able to go clockwise, you would have to go anti-clockwise, in the full map scenario. |
