It was actually built by Chevrolet as part of the Vision Gran Turismo game car line, and unveiled by Chevrolet in the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show as a laser-powered concept. And the Chaparral brand is already defunct since 1970 (please see en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chaparral_Cars). AMX was a trim model for the Javelin starting in 1971, as the original AMX 2 door coupe was discontinued in 1970. Alrighty. Guess I learned something new about it.
