ThatBus photo_librarymode_comment 2018-10-17 10:38 | I think it also looks very very much like this tuned Ford F-750 Big Job, see below: news.pickuptrucks.com/2010/11/sema-2010-ford-f-750-big-job-rides-on-a-chevy-chassis.html @fontheking5 It does look a bit like that too, but Ford F-8 Big Job is a semi truck, rather than a pickup, so I don't think that counts. I'd just leave it as it is now.

2017-07-25 15:57 | I'm not seeing any L'Universelle in this either. What I am seeing is a hodge-podge of 50's era Ford Thames and Commer van, with a bit of this Ford Concept bus thrown in for good measure. The basket-handle trim behind the front doors is also a very Ford thing (think Ford Mystere and the 55-56 Crown Victoria. -- Last edit: 2017-07-25 16:02:12

The M270 MLRS is the specific name for the vehicle and missile system combination, so using it here when the missiles are different could be inaccurate. Similarly, the Vought Corporation was only responsible for the design, while manufacture was contracted to multiple firms including Lockheed Martin. The carrier vehicle is known as the M993 and is built on the chassis of a BAE Systems Bradley. I suggest we list this as a BAE M993, but I'm no expert on military vehicles (I just know what to look for on Wikipedia) so can anybody with more experience confirm that identification?

2016-03-03 10:53 | The Art of Fallout 4 States the following of this car: "The large sedan seen here returns from Fallout 3 [...]" Also: "Sedan: A reimagining of the classic two-door Corvega from Fallout 3." Though the car takes design cues from previous Fallout vehicles, most notably the front and sides, the real life inspiration for the rear end is definitely the 1951 Buick XP-300, as suggested by kalu. |
