2023-07-04 19:01 | Vxctec a écrit They really should have implemented an airport in the game from a long time ago, although I don't think there would be an accessible runway. You should really get over your fixation of replying to old comments. That comment was written 12 years ago. Just because someone has an active account years ago doesn't mean they are actively commenting. Big difference. I'm not sure why Ubi wanted a airport-designed firetruck in the first place, but I suppose an airport used as a map would cost too much and/or to save memory.

2023-07-01 12:37 | Antti-san a écrit My question is, what's the difference between Zephyr and MKZ, other than the name? Is there something on this model that would indicate this should be listed as a MKZ, and not a Zephyr? They have some minor differences, the most noticeable is that the MKZ has a horizontal line on the grille. Zephyr: imcdb.org/vehicle_67015-Lincoln-Zephyr-CD378-2006.html MKZ: imcdb.org/vehicle_456839-Lincoln-MKZ-CD378-2007.html However, the ASYM Desanne has a generic mesh grille, so this is irrelevant in this case.

2023-07-01 09:01 | Vxctec a écrit Exactly, so it still is an MKZ, regardless of what is has been called before. The ''Z'' in MKZ still stands for Zephyr. Sorry, but what sort of logic is that? If it was called "Zephyr" for that model year then it should be listed as "Zephyr", regardless of whatever the nameplate was changed to in the following years. And if there is no certain year given in a game (like for an unlicensed model like this), the first year that that model was produced in real world is what we list it as here, at least that's how it used to be IIRC. My question is, what's the difference between Zephyr and MKZ, other than the name? Is there something on this model that would indicate this should be listed as a MKZ, and not a Zephyr?

2023-07-01 02:07 | That doesn't prove anything. Besides we know that is how it's been since 2006. It doesn't make much of a difference in how it would be named since unlicensed cars are not 1:1 of how they're represented. On this site we use the first model year (not production year) of the vehicle's introduction. It's not gettin' changed to MKZ. Thank you for understanding.

2023-06-29 18:00 | Vxctec a écrit The Zephyr is named/marketed as the MKZ in the United States, so it should be changed back to the previous name. The current Zephyr is sold in China. No, Zephyr is the corrent name. It went on sale in 2006 under the Zephyr name, then it got renamed to MKZ in 2007. -- Last edit: 2023-06-29 18:02:12

2023-06-29 00:42 | We do know why it happened, but the sad thing is, nothing you say is going to change it. The fact remains that Ubisoft completely broke the franchise after San Francisco. Small wonder why this game has no DLC content. ![]() Ubi Reflections even died off afterwards, and whatever fragments of the game's formula went to Watch Dogs. And Speedboat Paradise was the coup de grace, as Antti-San said before. Critics and reviews were not kind, as they gave scathing reviews and essentially doomed this IP to the graveyard. This was a tragedy like nothing else. |

The MKZ name wasn't used until 2007 at the very least. Lincoln did use the Zephyr name in 2006, and this IMCDb entry says otherwise: www.imcdb.org/vehicle_67015-Lincoln-Zephyr-CD378-2006.html

2023-06-06 23:30 | Sadly it was done at the request of Bentley. Mulsanne is very much opulent and there's a reason why most devs go for unlicensed variants of the car that was recently departed. Some brands are very, very protective of how they're portrayed. Kinda like how the Bentley additions in Forza have been slow. Arnage itself is very underappreciated. Forza Horizon 5 would love this too, since we also happen to have the Turbo R, its predecessor.

2023-04-06 00:25 | Antti-san a écrit Still a huge difference between making a look-a-like model and having a licensed one, with all the legalese involved. Or, it could be a sign that they've lost all creativity (in GTA V's example) and decided to make shameless rip-offs of the IRL cars. And regarding this car: Visually, I don't see a MKZ in this. Rather, this would have to be MFG since pretty much every vehicle that's not a Class 8 truck in this game is licensed.
