2016-01-09 23:49		Game says it's a Spirit R, so we're going by what it says. Plus I think the RZ only came in white, while the Spirit R was available in grey.

It can be a Type-B too like this one:

Exterior is the same for the Type-A/B/C RX7 Spirit-R. Differences between them are about seats and transmission.

Anyway this is the 8th series, the latest. Made since 1999 until 2002.

PS: we also can't know until official confirmation if it's a Spirit R or not. Because a non-spirit R 8th series still looks the same, like this Type RZ:

2015-08-05 15:35		Yeah, that was one of the downsides of the later model FD RX-7s, whereas the earlier ones (including all FDs sold in the US) didn't have the license plate area built into the front bumper.

The only ways to work around it are to either swap on an early FD bumper or an aftermarket one.
