2016-01-06 23:18 | Automotive Gaming wrote I do not agree. Wheelarches size are the same as the Camaro ones, since the Daytona ones are smaller. Also, if you notice, the wheelarches "lips" are more similar in terms of size to the Camaro ones than the Daytona ones (Daytona ones are less pronounced). Mirrors are mounted on doors for both Camaro and Buffalo, while the Daytona ones are mounted aside the window. Daytona has a scoop on the front bumper between the headlights which the Buffalo and the Camaro don't have. The Daytona front bumper lip is way smaller than the Buffalo and Camaro ones, also the front bumper lip cut (where the lip is mounted/starts) is exactly placed in the same point for both Buffalo and Camaro. The front bumper overall design is same as the Camaro. Buffalo side window design is the same as the Camaro. The Camaro just doesn't have the rear side triangle window because of the bigger trunk window. The side door design is same as the Camaro. The trunk wing, same as Camaro. www.sitedogta.com.br/imagens/veiculos/originais/buffalo%203.jpg www.iroc-z.com/1986pics/1986gallery/Jeffs%20Iroc%20Front%20Index%20Pic.JPG i.imgur.com/axMfEHj.jpg Remember that you can't have an exactly replica of a real car in a GTA game (or any other game with fake cars), so the developers must use their fantasy to add random details here and there to confuse who sees the car, maybe also borrowing those details from a whole different vehicle (GTA4/5 Infernus = half Lambo, half Zonda.) Luckily, the GTA SA Buffalo is way more clear to identify. Small OT: I agree with you about the Super GT "bump", because it is indeed an SW20 rather than an AW11. You have a point, the RWD and the V8 are convincing enough. I still think that the car is a mixture between the Camaro and Daytona with Manta 400 headlights but this will do. |

2016-01-02 23:37 | ZoomZoom wrote Delete my posts all you want, it doesn't change the fact that this is A Dodge Daytona. Look at the pillars and the taillights. Plus, the Buffalo is canonically a Dodge in other GTA games. If you know the GTA series well you should also know that the fantasy vehicles of the game often change between the episodes. Example: www.igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=123 www.igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=50385 or: www.igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=1514 www.igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=12693 GTA brands also aren't trustable. Example: www.igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=60517 www.igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=65765 Plus, the Buffalo engine sounds in San Andreas are of a V8, while the Daytona only had inline 4s and a V6. -- Last edit: 2016-01-02 23:55:08 |
