    The game has been early access since 2003, but I went with the 2016 Delta release when it changed developer and got a major overhaul.
    It is a free to play game made by a small indie team, runs on an old game engine, and still uses lots of outdated assets.

    The game has been early access since 2003. In 2016, it received an official release under a new development team.
    It is a free to play game made by a small indie team, runs on an old game engine, and uses lots of outdated assets.
