    This was published by Activision in 2005. The rules were probably different back then, and Activision definitely had the money to contest that kind of requirements.

    Actually exist others games do the same, GTA 5 with various cars similar to real ones.

    That its strange, Horizon Chase used the same elements to create the cars and years later made a facelift to avoid copyright problems, but with some games like Truecrime, don't had problem to use real cars and change a bit the design.

    This was published by Activision in 2005. The rules were probably different back then, and Activision definitely had the money to contest that kind of requirements.

    Some cars are close to their irl counterparts other are approximate AF.
    However it's a good game for patrolling and acting as a police officer in a good recreation of South Manhattan. Like a sequel of "World's Scariests Chases", until GTA IV New York's vigilante missions arrived.
