Remember, they stopped doing regional differences starting from GT PSP, so they stopped sponsoring ESSO on the cars (& the 206 Rally) & stuck w/ Exxon so that they would not be sued.

![]() ![]() 2016-04-21 22:39 | ![]() I loved that segment from Top Gear, though I want to yell at Clarkson on how the Chrysler 340 isn't an engine that turns "torque into noise" ![]() However, he says something different in The Sunday Times... Jeremy Clarkson wrote The engine was a Chrysler 6.2 V8, which turned money into noise but produced very little by way of power in the process. He instead says it's a Chrysler 6.2...which is 380 cubic inches...oh wait CHRYSLER DIDN'T MAKE A 380! I think he meant a 7.2, as Richard Hammond called it in the review of a 1968 Dodge Charger he was driving. Of course...this wasn't all Chrysler's fault. He continues... Jeremy Clarkson wrote ...Which was probably a good thing, since the enormous live rear axle wasn’t really attached to the car in a way you’d call finished. And to make matters worse, Jensen would simply pop down to the local supplier whenever it needed a steering rack and come back with whatever was on the shelves. Some Jensens, by all accounts, were accidently sold to customers with steering designed for the Triumph Stag. ![]() ![]() ![]()
