![]() 2024-03-07 19:19 | static.wikia.nocookie.net/twistedmetal/images/9/9d/KamikazeConcept.png/revision/latest/scale-to-width-down/1000?cb=20230426093830 The concept arts show that it was inspired by the R8 but with typical front engined coupe proportions (hence the thoughts of this being an R35). Also it was known as Spectre at some point in development. -- Last edit: 2024-03-07 19:19:45
![]() Twisted Metal (2012) | ![]() 2024-02-27 21:43 | If you're holding out hope that a new Twisted Metal game would be coming, you're out of luck. Sony has killed the series for good amid layoffs, including closing down their London studio. Read this here: www.gameinformer.com/2024/02/27/twisted-metal-game-reportedly-canceled-by-sony-amid-mass-layoffs Looks like Sweet Tooth is not coming out of retirement. |

![]() ![]() 2021-09-16 02:25 | Silnev wrote Nah I cheesed it, there was a glitch that makes unlocking this relatively easy. But still the requirements to unlock it are insane for a mid-tier vehicle. The old infinite ammo glitch and the last level glitch I presume? That's how I want to beat this game, it wont play fair with me so there's no reason to play fair with it.

Well, kudos to you. Not everyone cares about games that are this old, specially in this genre and the fact that you know about the cancelled vehicles from the planned DLC only makes it better, I can tell you did you homework and I'm happy for it. -- Last edit: 2021-09-16 00:08:12 |

It's unlocked by beating Sweet Tooth's story. ![]() Also a number of dlc cars were planned but ultimately scrapped. Some were pretty much ready while others had models but still needed work. The Limo seen in the dollface boss fight was one of these vehicles others include: Twister (F1 Car), Yellow Jacket (Checker Marathon), Mr. Slam (Front End Loader), Crazy 8 (1930s coupe), Pit Viper (Dune Buggy) and Spectre. The Red one is Hammerhead (a vehicle from previous Twisted Metals) and the yellow is Slayer. Fun Fact: In the intro cutscene Mr. Grimm is shown in Slayer but if you destroy Slayer first he'll teleport to Hammerhead for the rest of the fight. ![]()
![]() ![]() 2021-05-14 17:20 | It's been speculated for years that this car was meant to be a dlc vehicle. Alas the decision to have zero dlc destroyed those hopes. It also shows up in white without the spotlights. ![]() -- Last edit: 2021-05-14 17:35:57
