It kinda looked like that safari double deckers in zoo, with roof chopped down and railing all around. It is proably T1.

I agree its looks like a Type 2 (campervan/microbus) with a huge roo box welded to its roof

I'm not sure you could really say this is double-decked. To me, it's just a VW Typ 2 with a comically huge roof box.
