For MX5 owners like me, it's quite different. First, the most obvious:

- 1.6 engine VS 1.8
- 1.8 has bigger brakes
- 1.8 has extra anti roll braces
- 1.8 has a different final drive
- 1.6 is lighter

And the visible differences:

- standard 14 inch "daisy" wheels instead of optional (1.8) 15 inch
- No R-package front lip, rear lip and rear decklid spoiler
- Smaller, non-powered mirrors with smaller base
- Different centre console
- no shipping hooks in front grille anr sticking out from behind rear bumper
- different sun visors (I kid you not ;) )

And a bit earlier version, 1990 vs 1994. But basically, yeah. But it's free, so it's good.
