This car belongs to Keiko Hatano, one of the New York racers, so it can't be a Clio, since Renault Clio has not been sold in the US.

Despite the fact that vehicle doens't was sold in US, the design of Piranha PDQ doesn't matches with Renault Clio, the headlights and side windows format fits with the fitht gen Honda Civic hatch:


Since Midnight Club Street Racing are based in the real tuning culture of 1999-2000, i think the Piranha PDQ use some real custom bodykit.

While it does have very few elements from the Clio V6, I don't think it's a Clio.

First off, the headlights are clearly 92-95 Honda Civic, while it pertains a Ka/Puma-esque grill. The rear is a 90-91 Honda Civic, with Ka-esque taillights. The whole side of the car also has the roofline of the 91 Civic, and also has the stock fender flares. That's all I have for this one.

The PDQ R should stay a Clio, and the PDQ ARi should also be changed to a Civic, also.

Hope that this can clear up identification a bit. :p

Hold up now. Lets not go off game file names. Remember MC2 that had Porsche rims on a Aston Martin?

As far as the car being FWD, I need to validate that. I think the Phiranahs may have been 4WD.

The Clio V6 is a mid engine, rear wheel drive car.

If this car is front engine, front wheel drive, change it to a EG6 Civic.

It has Civic wheel covers and the game files call those hatchbacks vp_crx so might be something Honda-related

It doesn't have any of the Clio V6's features. Probably some JDM ricebox instead.
