Are you sure? Cause as far as I know, Ford manufactured a special Commercial Taxi Package long wheelbase model of Crown Vic called P70 for taxi usage. Adaptation a former police cruiser for taxi would be pointless and unprofitable. Rockstar just reused police model for taxi and that's why there is "Police Cruiser" badge visible on the rear. It's supposed to be based off of LA Checker Cab Co., they just left the NYC Taxi style sign on the roof. | |

| The front end seems to look more Caprice than CV, but the cab and rear are clearly CV. |
