| But unfortunately, Tesla has been nothing but a brazen and profit-greedy company (And still is), that screws customer service and throws garbage vehicles at people that are not even worth the money. | |
| Tuppence870 a écrit Well that's not exactly correct. The Tesla Model S is a liftback. Liftbacks are in a weird middle-ground between hatchbacks & sedans/coupes where they are essentially those body styles but with a hatchback-style trunk. Frankly I've always hated the way liftbacks are always considered hatchbacks on here (since true hatchbacks have their own distinct shape), but that's the way it is for now. I mistook conventional trunks for lift backs, sorry, but anyways, this doesn’t really classify the Tesla Model S as a hatchback, as sedans can also have liftbacks with a different overhang. Tesla has never manufactured a single hatchback. | |
| The addition of Liftback as a catogory would be nice. | |

| twilight sparkplug a écrit Car companies also call 4 door cars coupes, and 5 door wagons shooting brakes. But marketing does not change the physical world. Yes, but the Model S has always been classified as a sedan, and has a conventional trunk. If you didn’t know, there are people who even claim that the Model 3 is a hatchback when it’s clearly not. Although I don’t like Tesla, never in the world has anyone or anything else considered the Model S as a hatchback. -- Last edit: 2022-10-10 02:49:14 | |
| Vxctec a écrit The company itself states that the Model S is a large sedan, the Tesla Model S is absolutely NOT a hatchback, this needs to be changed. Car companies also call 4 door cars coupes, and 5 door wagons shooting brakes. But marketing does not change the physical world. | |

| ShantJ a écrit It is a hatch. Yeah, I think this and the one in GT6 should be listed as hatchbacks, not sedans. -- Last edit: 2013-06-17 20:04:19 | |
| but the wikipedia said Wikipedia a écrit The Tesla Model S is a full-sized electric four-door fastback sports sedan | |
It is a hatch.![]() | |
| It is a four door sedan, but the boot has a hatch/liftback, like the Porsche Panamera. I agree that models like these, should be classed as sedans depite the way the boot opens, but waht can you do. | |
| lol it's a Sedan not a Hatchback someone change it | |
| WOW it's a cool Tesla. | |
| Looks nice for a hybrid, although I see it more like a mix of Jaguar XF with the front of Hyundai Accent ._. | |
