Actually, Enads has been rearmed to FN-MAG (7.62) and Browning M1919. The base variants of Eland use has a MAS AA-53 and they has been rearmed after rise of aparteid if SA. And you are wrong: Eland Use a standart petrol engine simular to standart engine of AML. And some about coaxial: Rhodesian army use M1919 and those cars has been rearmed in Rhodesia.

Actually no. MOWAG Piranha is just a chasis but weapon systems and engines with some electronics is desighned be GMC and GD. Another example - Soviet T-26 which has been a heavy redesighned version of Vickers 6-ton. First Elands has been maded fron french build-kits and some has been modernised from ordernary AMLs.

In IMCDB I can write as "Origin - French, Build in South Africa" bit heare it is impossible.

Reumech OMC Eland 90 is a SA variant of Panhard AML. Many of Elands has been converted from original french AML. Eland is just a variant.

Correct ID for the version would be Reumech OMC Eland 90 (or Mk 9).
