| Apparently, it was designed by General Motors ( www.historyofwar.org/articles/weapons_T49_57mm_GMC.html ), and since this vehicle led to the M18 Hellcat. And because the M18 was designed by Buick (division of GM), I think we can assume the T49 was also manufactured by Buick, so I'm changing it to that | |

| Apparently the T49 was a variant of the M41, with an enlarged turret and 90mm gun. Based on that...would Cadillac be the right make for this? They did build the M41, and this is a slightly modified version that never made it past trials, due to lack of interest. 'T49, an American experimental Tank Destroyer during World War II.
