That's what it does look like. I've never seen a Mirage hatchback before and your post peaked my curiosity. So I Googled it and sure enough, that's a Mirage hatchback. I don't believe the Mirage hatches were sold here in the States, and they've never been interesting enough to research.

This looks European and not Japanese. I think it's a Renault Clio.

It has gold rims like the Clio Williams and it does not have B-pillars, just like the Clio. The rear seems fatter, though.

The front of the car is very reminescent of first gen Clios.

The rear is definitely Civic though.
