Fenders, lights, and grill are from the B series. Top part of the hood seems to be off a Freightliner

It's a reference to the GTA3 beta where there was a school bus in one of their screenshot. "Beater" schoolbuses where seen in numerous GTA incarnations after GTA3.

These are actually 1980-1994 Ford B-Series, the bodies roughly resemble ones built by Thomas Built Buses
